Group Policy Setting "Coauthor and share in Office desktop apps" doesn't work (use office...

Hi all,

I try to enable the setting using GPO:

"use office 2016 to sync office files that i open"

but the Policy neither "Coauthor and share in Office desktop apps" nor the manual registry key work. I see in both cases that Registry key set is but the setting stays disabled.

Registry Hive HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Registry Path SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\OneDrive
Value Name EnableAllOcsiClients
Value Type REG_DWORD
Enabled Value 1
Disabled Value 0

If this is a relatively new computer, then it is very likely that you have an OEM Store version of Outlook installed which doesn't get removed by the Office uninstall <Fix-it> program and doesn't appear in the Control Panel <Programs> group.

To uninstall this version, go to Windows Settings --> Apps --> Apps & Features --> scroll down the list until you find <Microsoft Office Desktop Apps> --> click on it .. <Uninstall>. When done, either do a full online repair of or re-install your Office H&S

es geht um eine Konfigurationsanwendung, um Windows zu konfigurieren. Dies kann man hier downloaden:

Group Policy Settings Reference for Windows and Windows Server. Damit kann man diverse Einstellungen vornehmen.

Das mit den Unterseiten passiert, wenn man die Seiten sortiert hat.Und das Drag&Drop-Problem hat vermutlich die gleiche Ursache.Bernd
