ModernMusic is a fast, lean, and fully featured music player for Windows Phone 8.1!

This app does NOT support the playback of DRM protected files, such as those downloaded via an Xbox Music Subscription.

The app contains a small non-obtrusive ad on the now playing screen that can be removed with a $1.99 in app purchase. Thanks in advance to the users who chose to purchase this, as it will help me to continue development of the app in the future!

*Requires the .wpl files to be located within a user created "Playlists" folder within the Music folder on the phone or SD card, as opposed to the system created "Playlist" folder. This is due to an API limitation, which prevents access to hidden system folders.

What happend? The ads were gone after I bought the preium version some weeks ago. Now I have the ads again... fix this please!

 

Endlich ein Player ohne Streaming

 

Best music app for Windows phones!! Now that i copied my music on my micro sd card into a "music" folder, the library finds all my music and is complete. App gets better and crashes are fixed by recent updates. Everything works fine! I highly recommend it.

So here it is!

 

Zeigt nur knapp die Hälfte meiner Albumcover an, obwohl alle mit MP3tag hinzugefügt wurden. Der Funktionsumfang ist auch noch überschaubar, allerdings aktualisiert sich dieser Player nicht dauerhaft mit dem Internet wie XBOX music, was ein klarer Pluspunkt ist. Player mit Potential, klare Empfehlung!!!

Keine Livetile
Keine Künstlerbilder
Ewige Ladezeiten, sowohl bei Erststart und bei Hinzufügen neuer Musik.
Schlechte Playlist Erstellung

Fazit:
Dieser Player taugt noch (?) nicht viel

 

Super alternative zum marodem Xbox Music. Schnell, funktionell und personalisierbar. Zudem gibt es einen superschnellen Support! Absolute Empfehlung!

 

Endlich ein Player der mich nicht in den Wahnsinn treibt. Alle Cover werden angezeigt und Playlist import. KNALLER

 

Bester Musikplayer für Windows Phone 8.1. Funktionierende Playlists, korrekt funktionierender Shuffle, man kann im Song einfach springen, pausiert man ein Mp3 kann man an exakt der Stelle später weiter hören (wichtig für Hörbücher) und er kommt problemlos und schnell mit grossen Datenmengen klar (700 Songs in einem Ordner sind kein Problem). Das einzige, was nicht so toll ist, ist das Erstellen von Playlists, das ist noch sehr mühsam, da man immer nur ein Lied auf einmal hinzufügen kann. Aber das kann ja noch verbessert werden. Dennoch: 5 Sterne von mir.

 

Was soll ich sagen? Die App orientiert sich am Modern UI und hat auch eine gute Performance. Der Player hat das, was ein Player braucht - und vor allem nicht das ganze Aufzwingen von Streams oder kostenpflichtigen Downloads an Musik wie XBOX Music oder Nokia MixRadio.

 

Gute App, viel besser als das was Microsoft aus ihrem Player gemacht hat mit 8.1 Update.
Was mir fehlt -
1. Foto des Interpreter auf dem Live Tile, wie es früher bei Microsoft war und Live Tile selbst.
2. Macht bitte auch andere, kostenpflichtige Version, aber mit Möglichkeit, die Werbung auszuschalten. Ich persönlich würde gerne für solche App was bezahlen.

 

Jaaaa! Endlich eine gescheite Musik App für WP! Läuft flüssig, es gibt das von mir schmerzlich vermisste "recently added". Verbesserungspotential:
- unter "recently added" mehr Songs
- Im Play-Bildschirm werden die Cover bei mir nicht angezeigt (aber die kleine Vorschau unter "recently added" oder "Library" schon)
Freue mich schon aufs erste Update.
