MPEG4 and WMV video creations don´t finish

Hello,

Creating a MPEG4 or WMV video from a single slide with recorded audio and many animations always fails on laptop and PC. The progress bar doesn´t advance beyond one third after 7 hours or more, Windows task manager shows around 55% CPU utilization. I am using Powerpoint version 1811 (Build 11029.20079 Klick-and-Los) from monthly channel, Office 365.

Hello,

I distributed the objects and animations from the single, complex slide to 10 slides so that the new slides have only two objects with few animations. The MPEG4 video creation in Powerpoint completes now within one hour in Standard and Full HD resolution.

Hallo allerseits,

Da meine Frage in einem deutschsprachigen Forum gepostet ist, ergänze ich meine Frage auf Deutsch:

Das Video wird offensichtlich durch Microsoft Fotos erzeugt, da diese App im Task Manager nahezu 100% ausgelastet ist während der Videoerzeugung.

Der Windows Event Viewer enthält keine besonderen Einträge.

Gibt es vielleicht eine Maximalgrösse von Audio-Files bei der Videoerzeugung? Mein Filesist ca. 50 kB gross und dauert 35 Minuten.

Moin Klaus,

bei mir (Win 7 / Office 2013 Prof.) ist das zu finden unter:

Datei->Exportieren->Video erstellen -> Video erstellen (Button) -> Dateityp: MPEG4 oder Windows Media Video.

Oder ist der Punkt "Dateityp" bei dir leer?

Ich habe das gleiche Problem, nur mit dem Unterschied, daß bei mir bis zu einem Video das Konvertieren nach wmv einwandfrei funktionierte und plötzlich feht die Tonspur und der wmv Datei. keine Ahnung warum??
