    Hello, I have two Live.de now outlook.com mail accounts, each under a separate Microsoft Account. Both Mail accounts are set up on my Sony Xperia Smartphone with the Sony mail App as Exchange Active sync. One of the 2 accounts, unfortunately my main account, started to report a Log-In Error in the app notification and occasionally refused to sync mails, although sometimes I still received new mails. I found today that it seems like just sending a mail was not working but receiving did. The secondary account just works fine in the same application, so its not a general app issue.     When you added the Outlook.com account to outlook, it should be added as an exchange account - and you'll have two calendars - the old one you used before and the new one in outlook.com.

    When you change the view on the old one to list view - outlook is usually goofy and first changes the view on the default calendar (which is now outlook.com's) - select the old calendar again and change the view to list view.

    And if I move it to the outlook.com calender I can access them via outlook.com/phone, but I am still not sure what happens when I add stuff to the new outlook.com calender in my outlook desktop client when I don't have internet access.

    thanks for your fast response.
    Unfortunately I do not work on an installed version of forms.
    I work on the browser-solution via Chrome.
    Here I can't find any option to update my version -> guess it should be the latest one anyway?
    Also I do not see anything about branching in the settings of my form.

    <br />I shall switch to English, to be as clear as possibe in my further questions.
    <br />Your explanations clarifys a lot.
    <br />I have added my main mail account (IMAP) to the web app, and I can see those emails.
    <br />I have added an outlook.com account to Outlook desktop, and moved calendar and contacts to that account.
    <br />This works as well. Appointments and contacts are visible in the web app, and Android sync still seems to work.
    <br />I might try to add outlook.com to Outlook on Android as well to see how that goes.
    <br />Anyway, there are still a couple of questions left:
    <br />
    • I had problems adding an outlook.com account, using the cryptic one that is displayed in the web app.
      I then created a new one under my name, used that along with my Microsoft login password, and surprisingly this worked.
      <br />The cryptic one is still displayed in the web app - *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***, can I change this?

    • Now, when I start Outlook Desktop, it always goes to the Inbox of the outlook.com account.
      How can I change this so it's the inbox of the IMAP mail account? (as I'm used to)

    • I assume the mails in the outlook.com account are just a copy of the associated mail account.
      I.e. I cannot do all mail work from @outlook.com but still need to visit my IMAP account to delete mails. Correct?

    • For Outlook desktop, is Microsoft's recommendation to just use the outlook.com account, or to also have the associated accounts included?

    <br />after almost 2 weeks now, I'm happy with the new setup - except for one thing.
    <br />My outlook.de account (which I have set as profile on the account, as per your advice) is receiving all the mails from my main IMAP account (t-online.de).
    <br />Which is not an issue for me on Windows desktop, but on Android. Because the Android app always opens a view of incoming mail for all accounts, which means that I basically see all emails twice - the t-online-de orginal, as well as the one redirected to outlook.de. This is annoying.
    <br />I have tried to eliminate the outlook.de mails by setting up rules (to move in a separate folder, or even delete those mails), but these rules don't run automatically on Outlook desktop on incoming mail. The rules have no effect until I open the rules dialog and manually select them to run.
    <br />Ideally, the mails redirected from t-online.de to outlook.de account would be removed from the inbox already on the server. I have also defined rules under Automatic Replies - Rules (one for TO: my t-online.de address, another one for TO: my outlook.de address) but also these don't have any effect.
    <br />What am I doing wrong here?
    <br />What can I do to not see two entries for all my emails when opening Outlook in Android?
