cant sync contacts from iphone to office365. Other way around works.

1.) This is the German section of the Answers Forum, i.e. "Wir sprechen hier Deutsch".

If you prefer English or any other language, please make your choice in the upper right corner next to your name.

2.) This way of referring to a word document works in a URL like way, i.e. your entry in Windows Explorer needs to be something like
file://PathToYourDocument#Bookmark. (Instead of the usual http://server/file)

I.e your format is probably almost correct.

I have never tried something like that, but only read in a recent Excel Reference that this is the way to refer to specific entries in a Word document by a link from within an Excel file. Thus I assume it should also work in a similar way from Explorer.

Well, it doesn't. Let me tell you what does work:
1) backup your contacts to a .pst file
2) export your contacts to an Excel file
3) select and delete all your contacts
4) import the Excel file into your Contacts folder
5) copy the new contacts into the Contacts folder under your live account
6) sit back and enjoy the fact that now ALL contacts are synchronized with your live account
7) replace the contacts in your Personal folders with the back up (if you are afraid of data-loss and/or want to keep a file for your history - from now on you're going to use the contacts from your Live account folder)

Thank you for coming to the forum. I am a Microsoft user like you and so is almost everyone in this forum.

I am sorry to tell you but you cannot make One Drive sync anything not in its folder directly. Symlinks will not work.

Other than the Desktop, Documents, and Picture folder of your user, anything else has to be in the One Drive folder to work.

Wenn ich alle Kategorien meiner Kontakte entfernen würde - wie könnte ich die Kontakte dann in Outlook2010 gruppieren? Kann ich irgendeinen Work-Around einbauen, dass ich die Kontakte synce und trotzdem eine Gruppierung erreiche?
