Create dynamic formula with value from dropdown list

Hi guys,

I have an excel sheet that I am using to calculate markups and margins of a fashion production. There are two tabs:

1 Calculating retail prices and their margin after discounts

2 Planning marketing campaigns and their potential outcome. And here comes my situation...

I would like to have one row with where I can select a discount 0%, 5%, 10%, ... from a dropdown list and this is being taken from the original sheet in the first tab. I don't want to calculate the discount here new because if I change production costs, this would not be affected.

This is 1, my cost and margin calculation. In column M I have several discount values and the retail price in J is multiplied with this to calculate the new retail price after discounts.

However, in my second tab, I need a formular that does this:

If value in H is equal to one in M7:11 from the first tab, then show the value next to it from 1 K7:11.

I tried it with different ways and IF-formulas but this always creates an overflow in 2 I, where I need this formular.

Can anyone help me out here please? :-

danke für deine Antwort. Ich wusste nicht, dass es Foren nach Sprachen gibt. Ich habe immer das Gefühl, in Englisch schneller eine Antwort zu erhalten

Ich habe deine Formel probiert, musste sie aber ein wenig anpassen, weil die Spalten nicht stimmten. Dennoch passiert der gleiche Überlauf und die Formel wird mir auf mehrere Zeilen erweitert. Siehe:

Übrigens, wenn ich, wie von dir vorgeschlagen, am Ende noch die beiden "" einfüge, kommt diese Meldung:

Für die Nachwelt dokumentierte Formel, falls mal jemand diesen Thread findet:

=XVERWEIS(H7;'Verkaufspreiskalkulation backup'!P8

12;'Verkaufspreiskalkulation backup'!M8:M12;"";0)

Hallo Tobias,

wenn du mehrere Ergebnisse bekommst, ist 0% mehrmals vorhanden. Mit INDEX/VERGLEICH oder SVERWEIS bekommst du immer nur die erste Übereinstimmung.

Du kannst z.B. auch

=INDEX(Verkaufspreiskalkulation!K7:K12;VERGLEICH(A3;Verkaufspreiskalkulation!M7:M12;0))

verwenden.
