Diskutiere und helfe bei Dear community, I have had the following problem for a few days now: Some emails no longer... im Bereich Outlook.com im Windows Info bei einer Lösung; Aus diesem Thread ausgliedern. Hola,das kommt bei Hotmail Adressen immer wieder vor, mit verschiedenen Absendern. Ist hier quasi auf jeder dritten... Dieses Thema im Forum "Outlook.com" wurde erstellt von steve1da, 8. Mai 2024.

    Aus diesem Thread ausgliedern. Hola,das kommt bei Hotmail Adressen immer wieder vor, mit verschiedenen Absendern. Ist hier quasi auf jeder dritten Seite zu lesen. Das einzige was meiner Erfahrung nach hilft ist, einen anderen Provider zu nutzen.Gruß,steve1da

    Fehler in einem Add-in (gSyncit)

    ok. the issue happend again this morning. folder is empty now. changing date of the "RoamCache" Folder is 15.01.2021 02:56

    no automatic reboot this time, as far as i can see.

    i set file history inactive now; already set it to defaults before.

    set synology backup to manual.

    will now test again a few days.

    edit:

    started outlook; creation date of the .ost files 16.01.21 10:45

    did a online repair of office now.

    Contact sync problem between outlook.com server and Android Galaxy S7 6.0.1

    Hi all,

    I had the same issue like you. But the following steps (which was quite some effort) helped.

    I assume that something went wrong with the (data) migration from the old to new outlook.com platform.

    I had some contacts with only "company" name filled out, but not first and/or last name. And I heavily suspect that this was causing sync problems.

    So, I did the follwing steps:

    1) Logged in to outlook.com and went to "people"

    2) I deleted the link/connection to linkedin.com (I don't believe that this solved the issue, however, I didn't like it anyways)

    3) I changed all contacts, for which no first or last name was filled out (e.g. I took the company name "Restaurant Blah" and copied it to last name)

    4) In case there was a link to another contact, I removed it (e.g. it had linked "John Doe" to "Mark Something" for whatever reason)

    5) I deleted all duplicated

    This took reaaaly some time. However, it was a good way to anyhow clean up the contacts.

    After I cleaned up my contact list on outlook.com (there was not a single contact without first or last name), I did the following steps on my Android device:

    1) Removed the Microsoft exchange account (just turning off sync does not help)

    2) Re-added my account

    Viola! This has been working for some time now. No "unknown name" contacts anymore! Let me know if it helped (and mark this as an answer, please, if so).

    Maybe there is also a smarter way of doing it.

    thank you so much again! I run the Defender and no malware software. Also, I have no VPN or Proxy, I am a direct customer of Telekom Germany. Following your advice I have installed a test account with administration rights, which is not a MS account, just local. Immediately OneDrive ist installed and available. Yes, that works. However, that account is a different world in Windows. Also I don't have the 1TB capacity available . . .

    the translation is a bit poor this time

    computer did a reboot after updating this night. outlook folder still unchanged since i deactivated gSyncit.

    as i already said. no such tools are used. at least nothing - that i don't already use for a longer time - and i never had problems with it before.

    the last sentence i don't understand. the backup does also run since a longer time already - no issues.

    i think i will wait now a few days and let gSyncit inactive. then i will activate it again and check. if the error occurs again; in my opinion; gSyncit is the problem... hope their support can help with this.

    Die Übersetzung ist dieses mal leider sehr schlecht.

    Computer hat sich letzte Nach automatisch neu gestartet nach dem er Updates gemacht hat. Der Ordner "AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook" ist immer noch im gleichen Zustand. Die .ost Dateien wurden nicht neu erstellt seit ich gSyncit deaktiviert habe.

    wie bereits erwähnt benutze ich keine solchen Programme. Zumindest keine neuen welche ich erst seit kurzem benutzen würde. Heisst also, es sind keine neuen Programme dazu gekommen, welche aus meiner Sicht für das Problem verantwortlich sein könnten.

    Der letzte Satz macht für mich leider keinen Sinn "oder App-Datenordner daraus entfernen".

    Die Sicherung läuft wie erwähnt auch schon länger und sichert ja nur die .pst Dateien. Damit gab es bisher auch keine Probleme.

    Werde es weiterhin beobachten und gSyncit inaktiv lassen.

    In ein paar Tagen werde ich es erneut aktivieren und wenn der Fehler wieder auftritt, ist für mich das Add-in das Problem. Werde dann mit deren Support schauen und hoffe, dass die helfen können.

My connection cuts off every now and then for a few seconds and i cant find the reason: using the ping command in cmd showed me that my ping is stable at around 6-7ms but every few minutes it disconnects and shows a request time out. I tried almost everyting such as updating drivers...
