Excel formatting problem

Hello dear Microsoft Community,When I enter a very long number into Excel, half of it is replaced with zeros!Why?Thanks in advance!

Hi Felix

If you use the Value function, does that work for you, for example if the long number is in A1 and you want to multiply that by B1, try this formula:

=VALUE(A1) * B1

Enter a ' character in the cell and then the very long number does that stop Excel formatting the number like that?

For example, if you are entering 123456789 in a cell, enter '123456789

Das geht schon, nur nicht so einfach.
 Das IMHO beste AddIn für extreme Zahlen gibt es hier:

 schau mal hier rein:

 Zur Darstellung kannst du die Zelle vor der Eingabe als Text formatieren oder ein Hochkomma vor die Zahl eingeben. Dann ist diese lange Zahl allerdings Text und du kannst damit nicht mehr rechnen.
