Folders downloaded from OneDrive saving as .TXT

Hey Community/Microsoft,I have a question. When I receive a shared link to a folder containing pictures, and I attempt to download them, the folder gets zipped and the pictures turn into .txt files. What can I do? Has anybody else experienced the same issue and know how to resolve it?Thank you!

 Es kann sein,das der Administrator eine Richlinie erstellt hat, dass Synchronisieren von Bibliotheken und Ordnern nicht lokal synchronisiert werden können. Mehr Details findest du im Artikel.

I understand your concern is regarding possibility of your company being able to access your data on Personal OneDrive.

Please find my answers in the same order:

1. If you have enabled sync from your personal OneDrive to local folder and your company has any rule/policy enabled to scan/access your local files, then they could possibly access those files.

2. Folders that are 'Online' available only will not be accessible as they would need your credentials to access.

3. Admin will not be able to login to your Personal OneDrive as that would also require your credentials.

You can upload files to SkyDrive from SkyDrive.com in a couple different ways. Each file can be up to 300 MB in size. If you have the

SkyDrive app installed, you can upload files and folders to
SkyDrive automatically by copying, moving, or saving them to the
SkyDrive folder on your computer. Files you upload this way can be up to 2 GB in size

Wenn ich das richtig verstehe, kann ich also mit SkyDrive synchronisierte OneNote-Notizbücher bis maximal 2 GB hochladen bzw. synchronisieren, oder?

If you are seeing Save Copy, you are operating with a document on OneDrive or SharePoint.

Try using Word on a file saved to your hard drive rather than the cloud. Any difference?

Try the F12 key if you are running a desktop version. Try that before the idea of saving and opening from the computer.
