I can login to hotmail, I can open the web from outlook.com.When logging in somewhere, it sends a security code to hele***@***.ch the company mail. this is working fine.On my new PC, everything updated and installed yesterday, I try to connect the outlook App to the hotmail account.I enter the mailadress and it asks to enter the security code, send to the ****@hotmail.com address. same as I try to connect and Im logged in online.But I dont get a code. I tried it yesterday around 5 times until I was banned it seams. Today, I tried it 3 times, same issue. Dont get the security code and have no

Hallo Ralf,

ja, der Bug existiert schon länger. Microsoft ist gerade dabei den Dienst Outlook.com umzugestalten. Zukünftig soll es dann wohl möglich sein, das Outlook.com-Konto wie ein richtiges Exchange Konto in Office Outlook einzubinden, anstatt den Hotmail Connector
(bis Outlook 2010) oder EAS (ab Outlook 2013) zu verwenden. Möglicherweise wird dann auch das Problem mit den Kontakten in Outlook 2013 behoben.

Willkommen in der Microsoft Community.

Sie können diese Clutter-Funktion nicht aktivieren, seitdem den erwähnten Menüpunkt nicht zur Verfügung steht.

Diese Option ist Teil der neuen Outlook.com-Interface, die schrittweise ausgerollt wird.

Deswegen, ist diese einfach nicht für Ihr Konto aktiviert.

Hallo Danke für die fortlaufenden Bemühungen mein Problem zu beheben.

Der Support and Recovery Assistant nimmt leider nicht meine Mail-adresse an mit der begründung "Sorry, we don´t yet support email addresses from this provider"

Thank you so much! It finally worked! The file wasn't there, so I reinstalled Word. I don't understand how that was different from the reinstallation I had done a couple of days ago, but good to have the link you shared to be able to update from there anytime.
