How many different ways can site collections be set up in Sharepoint Online?

Hello Everybody,We are kind of in the early stages of our knowledge on site collections within Sharepoint Online and We would like to know "How many possible ways can we have site collections configured in Sharepoint Online" , this will help us to cover all aspects of customer configurations to internally develop and test. This is more for us to have a broader view of the setup across different customers and cover all scenarios with our dev and QA process.Currently we know of one but we are sure there could be many. Here is one way how we see this, please advise of others that are available in

You can upload files to SkyDrive from SkyDrive.com in a couple different ways. Each file can be up to 300 MB in size. If you have the

SkyDrive app installed, you can upload files and folders to
SkyDrive automatically by copying, moving, or saving them to the
SkyDrive folder on your computer. Files you upload this way can be up to 2 GB in size

Wenn ich das richtig verstehe, kann ich also mit SkyDrive synchronisierte OneNote-Notizbücher bis maximal 2 GB hochladen bzw. synchronisieren, oder?

Hallo Galin,

die Artikel waren mir bereits bekannt und leider haben sie meine Frage nicht beantwortet.

Im Artikel Verwalten der Site Creation in der SharePoint Online steht der entscheidende Satz um den sich meine Frage dreht: "Wenn Sie die Option
Befehl "Website erstellen" für Benutzer mit der Berechtigung zum Erstellen von Websites einblenden ausgewählt haben,". Es ist die Rede von "Benutzern mit der Berechtigung zum Erstellen von WebSites". Meine Frage ist nun, wo dieses Benutzerrecht
vergeben werden kann?

Da es eine Site Collection- bzw. Websitesammlungsübergreifende Stelle ist, kann ich ja nicht auf Site Collection Ebene das Recht vergeben, oder doch? Wenn ich fünf Site Collections habe und in jeder haben Benutzer unterschiedliche Rechte, welches Recht wird
dann angezogen?

unfortunately this did not solve my issue.

Would you be available for a chat via MS Teams so that I can show you the challenge? I expect this is something that many user will have.

Somehow we need to exclude certain Sites (News of sites) from the user recommended newsfeed.

Bei OneDrive for Business und die SharePoint Online Seite handelt es sich um verschiedene Websitesammlungen. Eine solche "cross site collection" Abfrage ist in dem Fall nicht möglich.
