How to synchronize Office Outlook 365 v2212 with mobile phone?

So, after some research I was able to remove the newly added outlook.com exchange account from outlook via windows system - user accounts - mail accounts configuration and removing it from the list of outlook accounts. After that Outlook started again succesfully.
So now the question is, what is causing those error messages the moment I add this new outlook exchange account to my outlook?

When you added the Outlook.com account to outlook, it should be added as an exchange account - and you'll have two calendars - the old one you used before and the new one in outlook.com.

When you change the view on the old one to list view - outlook is usually goofy and first changes the view on the default calendar (which is now outlook.com's) - select the old calendar again and change the view to list view.

And if I move it to the outlook.com calender I can access them via outlook.com/phone, but I am still not sure what happens when I add stuff to the new outlook.com calender in my outlook desktop client when I don't have internet access.

When your internet access returns, they will sync to the server and on to your other devices.

is there a way to check incoming mails to the outlook.com address from thrid party - or outlook 365 desktop version? So I'd need the mailserver and connection details..

The desktop works like the phone - add the account using the outlook.com address.

And the login with the Android outlook.com app did work with the outlook.com address.
It's a shame that about 10 trys to sort this issue with MS support did not work. When the actual solution is that simple. Also it's a shame this is not mentioned anywhere, that it has to be an outlook account.

I receive all of them after each other. I have to click each one away and receive the next one.
I also noticed that in this Office 365 Outlook Version I can't access the e-mail account details any more. I tonly shows the first page for the e-mail name and the "continue" button leads to "successfully updated" message.
But there used to be a setting to access all the details of server address, password, port details for SMTP and POP servers - none of that is shown here.. How can I controll/change that?
I am terribly sorry for this ongoing questions, but somehow those issues just keep coming with this new 365 outlook version..
