Unfortunately, AutoCorrect in Microsoft Office is not case-sensitive.

You could add an extra character before upper-case.

For instance:

:g

/:G (which will be used by AutoCorrect the same as /:c)

You can use AutoCorrect Backup utilities to manually edit to some extent.

• AutoCorrect2007.zip found on Jay Freedman's The Macro Zone

Both of these create Word documents in the form of tables which can be edited. They then can be used to load the entries. They do not subtract or remove entries.

You should get the character. We'll try to work out what is happening. However, let us first work on a workaround so that you can produce your symbol.

You can also go to Insert > Symbol > More symbols and type the 211A in the box for uincode. At that point, the symbol will be available. If it is something you use frequently, you can assign a keyboard shortcut or AutoCorrect entry for it.

Are you using a German-language version of Office?

The message you are getting is the one we get in the English language keyboard for Alt+O and is a prefix trigger for prior menu commands that still work.

Is this a problem with one document or all documents or something in between?

Does it happen if you open Word in Safe mode?

mich hat das hyperlink- Problem nicht nur in Outlook 2013 sondern auch in Office 2010 erwischt.

Entsprechende englische Fehlermeldungen siehe weiter unten.



Ihr Lösungsvorschlag hat perfekt funktioniert.



Ursache des Problems war eine Deinstallation von Internetbrowsern mittels Revo Uninstaller V 1.95. mit "Tiefenscan" der Registry. Da bislang mit älteren Version von Revo solche Löschungen kein Problem gemacht hatten, hatte ich alle Vorschläge akzeptiert,
mit entsprechenden Folgen.

Hyperlinks in Excel cells can be created but not executed. Also, the VBA command "ActiveWorkbook.FollowHyperlink" does not work any more.



I get the message:



"The operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator."



Even more strange: I now opened Outlook 2010 and tried to execute a hyperlink in a message I got.



I get the message:



"Your organization's policies are preventing you from completing this action for you. For more info, please contact your help desk"
