    How can I set Outlook to offline/online mode automatically depending on network connection?

    Hello Diane,
    <br />Your second screenshot is very interesting to me as my Outlook does not do this. That is also the reason why I want to build something there. If I forget to switch Outlook to offline mode, then suddenly it just doesn't show me any messages. I always have to wait until I'm online again and that's just unpleasant.
    <br />Can this be related to the fact that I don't have an Exchange connection but all my accounts are IMAP accounts?
    <br />I can't put my Hotmail address in Outlook because then I have problems with my calendar, tasks, etc. that go through an IMAP account.

    Of course,

    Since I have a separate domain with e-mail, the Outlook.com account is not my main and not my only account.
    So I had to perform step 2 in the tutorial.

    I have the IMAP mail accounts re-set up.

    So now I am back on the green field and can try to set up the Outlook.com account.

    How do I add the account via "e-mail account" or via "manual configuration or additional service types"?

    I have log myself correctly.

    The direct way "e-mail account" does not go my e-mail address is ***** is and no @ Outlook.com address.
    My account with Microsoft is my e-mail address *****

    Therefore, somehow simply can not work.

    Frustration....

    Thank you for dealing with my concerns. I have now given myself two more days because I want to be precise:

    <br />I have an MS Office Professional 2019 on my desktop computer.
    <br />In Outlook 2019 I use several POP3 mail accounts, including ........ (this is my main address for anything and everything).
    <br />For exactly this account .................... and my Outlook 2019 I have the request with the appointment entries in the calendar.
    <br />The screenshot, you can already see it: I also have an Office 365 developer account. I use the whole account exclusively in the browser.
    <br />I want to clearly separate all activities with this account from my business and personal data flow.
    <br />I'm a little worried if I click on "Change license" that my Office 2019 will end up causing new license problems (never change a running system). I activated the license once, it ran smoothly for months and then came the developer account and this certain mess.
    <br />As an IT lecturer, I sometimes have completely different Office 365 accounts so that I can give seminars to the relevant customer on their platform.
    <br />Personally, I don't have or want any IMAP accounts.
    <br />I HAVE NOT ACTIVATED ANYTHING in File> Options> Calendar> Auto Accept or Reject
    <br />I don't use Outlook.com at all and I imagine that I don't have access to the .................... account either.
    <br />I can live with the whole thing, but among other things, I work as an IT lecturer and recently in the seminar someone raised the issue. I think I now know what the cause / solution is in this institution.

    Microsoft 365 Personal - wie Outlook Desktop und Web App synchronisieren?

    <br />after almost 2 weeks now, I'm happy with the new setup - except for one thing.
    <br />My outlook.de account (which I have set as profile on the account, as per your advice) is receiving all the mails from my main IMAP account (t-online.de).
    <br />Which is not an issue for me on Windows desktop, but on Android. Because the Android app always opens a view of incoming mail for all accounts, which means that I basically see all emails twice - the t-online-de orginal, as well as the one redirected to outlook.de. This is annoying.
    <br />I have tried to eliminate the outlook.de mails by setting up rules (to move in a separate folder, or even delete those mails), but these rules don't run automatically on Outlook desktop on incoming mail. The rules have no effect until I open the rules dialog and manually select them to run.
    <br />Ideally, the mails redirected from t-online.de to outlook.de account would be removed from the inbox already on the server. I have also defined rules under Automatic Replies - Rules (one for TO: my t-online.de address, another one for TO: my outlook.de address) but also these don't have any effect.
    <br />What am I doing wrong here?
    <br />What can I do to not see two entries for all my emails when opening Outlook in Android?

    Hello,I have several Microsoft accounts, and have added my phone number to each. However, when logging in, I noticed I can only use it once. How do I secure the other accounts? I find this really stupid if I want to use 2 factor authentication.
    Sorry to hear you're having trouble. I did some research and it seems as though you can add the same number for the accounts. You'll just need to enter the security info after each time.
