I have randomly appearing document folders on OneDrive in different languages

Thank you for coming to the forum.

I am sorry to inform you that OneDrive does not have such features. The way OneDrive works is this:

There are some selected folders that OneDrive can sync, those folders are your complete Desktop, Documents, and Pictures. It will sync all the contents, you cannot select what to sync and what not to sync. It will sync the whole documents in those folders

Another thing, you can do is to move the folder directory you want to the OneDrive Folder created for you when you install OneDrive and sign in, you will see it in the left pane of your File explorer.

How do I backup DOCUMENTS & PICTURES to Z: drive instead of ONEDRIVE?

I bought a new PC and installed on it the Microsoft 365 to which I subscribed. I noticed that while I can move the VIDEOS and MUSIC folders from the system drive C: to my 2nd drive Z:, I can't move DOCUMENTS and PICTURES because they seem to be automatically backed up to ONEDRIVE. But I do not want to do that. What do I have to do so that I can also move DOCUMENTS and PICTURES normally and without detour via ONEDRIVE to my drive Z:?

thank you so much again! I run the Defender and no malware software. Also, I have no VPN or Proxy, I am a direct customer of Telekom Germany. Following your advice I have installed a test account with administration rights, which is not a MS account, just local. Immediately OneDrive ist installed and available. Yes, that works. However, that account is a different world in Windows. Also I don't have the 1TB capacity available . . .
