Sorry but it would be really helpful if the description of the problem were read properly. It is precisely because it is not possible to do this that I posted here in the first place. When I try to do anything with that account it refuses to let me in and gives the error message that the account name does not exist. It does. Microsoft created it. I have no access to it, that is the problem.

Hello Marc-PhillipZietlow, If you are trying to buy a subscription only with balance, I regret to inform you that this is not possible, thanks to the new Xbox policies it is necessary to support the purchase with a credit or debit card and this is mandatory, I regret the inconvenience that this may cause you.

You would even have to have a credit card in your account to be able to make the purchase.
