IMAP with OAuth2 in Thunderbird 128 is not working for my @live.de account

I tried this also a dozen times to no avail.
<br />Also I have access to not just this one Microsoft Mail account and all the other are working just fine but only my main account isn't.
<br />So I can also exclude that this is a problem related to any of my devices.
<br />As this "testconnectivity.microsoft.com" thingy also works with every of my other acounts but not with my main account let me come to the conclusion that the error is on the server side.
<br />Edit: For the desktop Application "Outlook" it is working fine. But that's not my problem, my Problem is everything else like the "GMail Android" App and even "Microsoft Windows Mail" will not work.

I solved the problem: I asked my IT DEP to renew my online account. Seems Outlook 2016 is much more sensible with inconsistent or damaged data which is saved on Exchange. I do not know, what was damaged. But I created a local copy of my OST in a PST and
IT deleted anything. Now it works.

BTW: I am waiting for my Surface Pro 4. I am not happy with working an MAC with outlook.

Of course,

Since I have a separate domain with e-mail, the Outlook.com account is not my main and not my only account.
So I had to perform step 2 in the tutorial.

I have the IMAP mail accounts re-set up.

So now I am back on the green field and can try to set up the Outlook.com account.

How do I add the account via "e-mail account" or via "manual configuration or additional service types"?

I have log myself correctly.

The direct way "e-mail account" does not go my e-mail address is ***** is and no @ Outlook.com address.
My account with Microsoft is my e-mail address *****

Therefore, somehow simply can not work.

Frustration....

<br />I already have office 365 family and this contains onedrive, onenote etc.
<br />Right now i use a standard mailserver (supporting only IMAP) for mail Mail-Accounts on my family domain.
<br />I have the choice to do an upgrade to a premium business mailserver from my webhoster. The webhoster support says there probably is no difference to an original MS Exchange mailserver, but i can't believe this... I have no idea which serversoftware is supported but i guess it is up-to-date.
<br />My second choice is to buy a licence for the MS exchange mailserver which is more expensive then buying a licence for this premium business mailserver from my webhoster.
<br />My question is if it really doesn't matter if I buy the cheap business EAS mailserver compared to the MS Exchange mailserver.
<br />I plan to use :
<br />- all professional calendar tools which outlook offers at least in combination with a MS Exchange mailserver
- all professional task tools which outlook offers at least in combination with a MS Exchange mailserver
<br />- onenote and share notes with my family accounts
- onedrive and share files with my family accounts.
