IMPLEMENT External Drive Sync Feature with OneDrive Business to MAC OS

There are a lot of MAC Customers frustrated with one huge Dealbreaker: the great missing feature of Syncing the Onedrive Folder to an External Hard Drive (USB, SD, MicroSD etc.) under MAC OS.

Why does it work under Windows OS? Why does it not work under MAC OS?? Only Microsoft knows...

Why did Microsoft nothing within the last years to implement this crucial feature?? Only Microsoft knows...

Why does Microsoft ignore customers who demand this feature?? Only Microsoft knows...

Why is this standard feature available with Dropbox, Google etc. yet missing on Onedrive? Probably even Microsoft doesn't know...

Is there a clear date to when Microsoft will do Mac Users the favor of keeping track with modern Cloud File Sharing?

It took them some year to copy other basic features of Dropbox, but at least they did it (sharing a simple link to a file in Onedrive with other users, especially none-onedrive-users, was a pain in the butt, sharing a folder completely impossible)

If not, that will be the end of my contract with "OneDrive(minds-his-own)Business"

Das von dir beschriebene Verhalten ist by design. Die Thematik wurde schon in der englischen Community diskutiert. Siehe

hier.

Hier
im Artikelist beschrieben, wo sich die Eigenschaftslisten (PLIST) für OneDrive auf dem Mac befinden.

Ob deine Idee funktioniert, kann ich dir nicht sagen, aber du kannst es selber testen. Am besten alle Daten vorher woanders sichern.

Office 365 wird ständig weiterentwickelt und du kannst deine Meinung und Vorschläge darüber den Entwicklern
hier mitteilen und dafür abstimmen.
Möglicherweise wird die von dir gewünschte Option/Funktion in Zukunft implementiert.
