Is it possible to hide users who have opened file in SharePoint Online?

Hello guys,we just noticed, that you can see every user who currently has a file open, even for .pdf Files now. Is it possible to disable this feature.Everyone in our company has just reading privileges to this file, so it's not necessary to know who has it open.It seems like a relatively new feature as we only noticed this within the office apps before and not in the pdf viewer.

As Sways behave much like web pages, anyone who has the URL to it can view it. However, premium users have the ability to hide the share buttons (to make it not so easy to post on social media sites) as well as the ability to require a password to be able
to view it.

Hmmm....only a question.....When i try to start OneDrive, i get the message that (so far as I understood) a connection to Sharepoint is not possible.

And the error-message is:

But.....who is administering this Sharepoint-Server ? Is/Was it the company or is it (still) Microsoft ?
I'm a little bit confused now.....and shocked about the loss of all my files and folders :-(

Thanks, Berns! I tried that before but the problem is that the file in question is saved on a server. Is it possible to move such a file to a HTTP or HTTPS location and apply the procedure from there?

Sorry but it would be really helpful if the description of the problem were read properly. It is precisely because it is not possible to do this that I posted here in the first place. When I try to do anything with that account it refuses to let me in and gives the error message that the account name does not exist. It does. Microsoft created it. I have no access to it, that is the problem.
