Is it possible to retrieve a permanently deleted file from OneDrive?

Hello,I just realized that the log of our 3-week trip in the USA was deleted from OneDrive at some point in the past and is no longer in the Recycle Bin. I don't know when the file was deleted neither why, for that matter but I wonder if it is possible to have Microsoft retrieve it, if we know the file name, its location in OneDrive, and the date of the last modification.We would be incredibly grateful, if someone could help. It's a beautiful memory of our vacation and now it's gone.Thanks!

Thanks, Berns! I tried that before but the problem is that the file in question is saved on a server. Is it possible to move such a file to a HTTP or HTTPS location and apply the procedure from there?

I've already installed and set up OneDrive on my Mac. Unfortunately, step No. 5 doesn't exist under my OneDrive settings. It only shows Files that are already in OneDrive.
Do you know if there is another way to choose files to synchronise permanently?

Hello Heinz,

What is the error you are getting when you try to upload the video into Sway? It's possible that you are running into a network timeout - if the size of the video plus your current network speed causes it to take to long, it will fail. If you are on a
wireless network, you could try using a wired one. Some people have also had better luck uploading the video to OneDrive first and then inserting it from OneDrive from within Sway.

Thank you for your answer. The problem is not the timout. Becouse in earlier session it worked well. But with OneDrive it
works well. So it seems that OneDrive as source for SWAY is best solution. Thank you!

Thanks a lot for the reply! If you dont mind, I would like to elobarate my question in english. First problem is that I would like to add a word document (coverpage) to my word document. This coverpage is already prepared. But I have to merge this two word documents. How is it possible? The second problem is when I add a header in the coverpage, it appears in the other pages also. How can I fix the header just in the first page? Third problem is that I have deleted some references in the bibliography, when I update the bibliography, the deleted references don't disappear. How can I fix it?
