Issue: Word replaces installed bold .otf font with Standard

Hallo, ich habe durchaus Apps gefunden, die die in ihnen enthaltenen Fonts auf meinem Samsung Tablet installieren können.
<br />Ich benötige jedoch die kostenlose speziell für Schüler mit Dyslexie-Diagnose entwickelte Schrift Open Dyslexic Alta (regular, regular bold, kursiv, kursiv bold). Ich habe sie als .otf und konvertiert als .ttf im Download Ordner meines Tablets. Leider weiß ich nicht, wie ich sie von dort aus ins System bzw. ins Office bekomme. Welche App wäre dazu geeignet?

Guten Morgen,

die Probleme scheinen sich auf das Zusammenspiel von Word 2010 und den OTF Fonts (wie Minion) zu reduzieren. Ich vermute nicht mehr den Druckertreiber. Ich werde auf ein SP warten und hoffen, dass dann die neuen Features von Word zu Nutzung der Möglichkeiten
von OTF sauber unterstützt werden. Bis dahin arbeite ich mit einer Notlösung: Umstellung der Schriften zur Bearbeitung auf Cambria, zum Ausdrucken dann wieder auf Minion.

Der Fehler tritt bei Postscript-Fonts ebenfalls auf; beispielsweise in unseren Standard-Dokumenten, die auf der FF Dax basieren. Also nicht allein ein OTF-Problem.

Auch das Ändern des Standard-Druckers von Adobe PDF (9 Pro) zu (in diesem Fall) Microsoft XPS Writer brachte keine Änderung dieses Verhaltens. Trotzdem scheint das Problem mit dem Drucker (-Treiber) zusammenzuhängen, denn ein 'optisch, wie hier beschrieben,
zerstörtes' Dokument wird in der Druckvoransicht wieder korrekt dargestellt.

Common font file suffix formats are TTF and OTF:

- TTF(TrueType)
The most commonly used font formats in Windows and Mac systems are characterized by contour-based fonts defined by a mathematical pattern, which makes them easier to process than vector-based fonts and ensures screen and printout consistency. At the same time, these fonts, like vector fonts, can be scaled and rotated at will without fear of jagged teeth.

- OTF(OpenType)
OpenType is a font developed jointly by Microsoft and Adobe, and Microsoft's Internet Explorer all use this font. Committed to replacing TrueType fonts.

Ist die Garamont Standard denn noch im Font Ordner? Falls nicht, lad sie Dir aus den Microsoft Cloud-Schriften herunter und installiere sie neu.





Die Schrift wird angezeigtist aber nur als Bold Italia wählbar. Wo genau/wie genau kann ich mir die Schrift neu herunterladen/ neu installieren?

Welche Schrift ist in der Standard-Formatvorlage eingerichtet?

Im Allgemeinen ist Calibri als Standard eingestellt. In diesem Dokument Garamond Standard.
