Issues with Public Folders and Outlook Crashes During Hybrid to Exchange Online Migration

In our hybrid setup, we currently have public folders that contain email mailboxes and calendars:- If we shut down the Exchange on-prem server without deleting these folders, the Outlook clients will crash.- When we delete the public folders on the on-prem Exchange before shutting it down, they are also removed from Outlook, which resolves the issue for many users. However, many users have added these public folders to their Favorites. - When the public folders are deleted from the on-prem Exchange, these Favorites remain, but Outlook crashes upon restart because the public folders in the favo

 Welche Version von Exchange lokaler Server hast du benutzt und hast du die Schritte für die Migration von Ordnern wie im Artikel durchgeführt?
 Bitte folge die Anweisung im Artikel, wie du den öffentlichen Ordner in Exchange Online entfernen kannst. Wenn du eine Fehlermeldung in PowerShell bekommst, warten wir auf deine Rückmeldung.

Vielen Dank für deine Anfrage.

Wenn bei der Migration ein Fehler aufgetreten hat muss man die Migration zurücksetzen. Sehe bitte

die Anleitung. Möglicherweise wäre besser, wenn du eine Service-Anfrage direkt im Office 365 Portal erstellst.

Outlook 2003 geht mit Hosted Exchange nicht mehr. Hier gefunden:

To what extent is Outlook 2003 support gone? Since Public Folders aren't supported does this mean that if someone is using Outlook 2003 they'll have to upgrade to 2007 or 2010? I've got a number of 2003-based customers and it might be a problem to make them
upgrade.

Yes, they will need to upgrade. Outlook 2003 needs Public Folder, if that's not available, it won't work.

In Exchange 2010 SP1 Hosting mode, the following won't be supported,

Exchange Management Console
Public Folders
Unified Messaging Server role
Federation
Business-to-Business features such as cross-premises message tracking and calendar sharing
IRM
Outlook 2003 support (EnableLegacyOutlook)
Edge Transport Server role

Man kann mit dem neuen Outlook schon öffentliche Ordner verwenden. Leider unterstützt die Anwendung momentan keine lokalen oder Hybrid Exchange-Bereitstellungen. Sehe mehr im Artikel.
