Keep seeing two identical one Drive folders same content too on my PC

Sorry to come in English. I'm Dutch and can understand German, but I'm afraid I would make too many mistakes when I address you in your own language. Hope this is OK.

I have the same problem as the first person in this thread. I just bought a Samsung Omnia7 phone, this is a Windows7 Phone, that uses Windows Live to store the calendar and contacts. Obviously I would like this to sync with my Outlook 2003 destop, which
can be done through Microsoft Office Outlook Connector. Works fine for the calendar, but there is a problem with transferring my 870 contacts to Windows Live.

The .CSV transfer is refused by Windows Live, indeed it tells me that the file is empty (which it verifiably is not). Then I tried to drop my contacts from the Personal folder in Outlook into the contacts folders that has been created by the Outlook Connector
(a subfolder of my live account). This seemed to work, yet I'm losing around half of my contacts and some are duplicated or even quadrupled. The strange thing is they show up in the Outlook folder, but not on the contacts page in Windows Live - and to be sure:
neither in my phone.

This makes me believe there is something wrong with the Outlook Connector synchronization procedure, but I fail to see what exactly. What I have discovered though is that of people with the same family name only one appears in Windows Live... wonder of
wonders.

I have now decided to undo the Outlook Connector, re-install my Outlook on the desktop, then re-install Outlook Connector, and try the whole thing from the start again. In the meantime I keep my phone away from my Windows Live account and off line, because
there might be a problem with the simultaneous synchronizations running between my desktop and the Live server AND between the Live server and my phone (although the simultaneity of these synchronizations is the whole point of Outlook Connector).

If you can shed some light on this issue, I'd be most grateful. I've tried to follow your suggestions, but can't accomplish the copying of .vcf records into my live account (in neither of the ways you indicated), this seems to be an option that is not available
in the versions of my software.
Again: I'm running Outlook 2003 on Windows XP.

I must update the given information a bit: When I posted this, I thought that only two docs were affected, but in reality there a more - yet, by far not all of them. I can open others, that are filed on that same external drive as well (in the same folder or in others), without any issues. All of them are docx.
<br />I worked on two of them on Dec 9 the last time with Word Microsoft 365, and all was fine. I sent these docs via email back then, but when I try to open them in that email, the same error message appears.
<br />Strangely enough, these docs can be easily opened by another email recipient (android), who tried to file it under a different file name and then sent it back to me, with no positive result, unfortunately. Just now, however, I decided to send the docs to another email address of mine, where I could open them and add a small modification, file them in the cloud and send them back to my inbox - and, gladly enough, it worked, I can open the documents without any issues. What on earth is the issue???

Thank you for your response.
When I move the mouse pointer over the icon, the following is displayed:
OndeDrive-Personal
Current!
If I double click it, my OneDrive folder will be shown on the PC!
When I right-click on Ads Online, it shows me my folders in the OneDrive cloud. It also shows that I am logged in!
So I'm signed in! In my view, it can't be because of that!

Hey, i have Microsoft Office 2011 onto my iMac and also onto my MacBookPro.

I use Outlook for my E-Mails. My Question is, is it possible to use the same databank for both devices.

Like to save the databank into microsoft skydrive or into a folder in dropbox ?

So i have all e-mail, i get and also if i write new one all into the same databank. and not the half on iMac and the other half on my MacBookPro !!

Ich habe Microsoft Office 2011 auf meinem iMac und auf meinem MacBookPro.

Ich benutze Outlook für meine E-Mails.

Mine Frage nun, ist es möglich das man eine Datenback für beide Geräte benutzen kann.

z.B. die Datenbank in Dropbox oder in Skydrive speichern und das im Outlook so einstellen das er den dort den Speicherort sucht, bzw die Datenbank.

So habe ich alle E-Mail, die ich erhalte und schreibe automatisch auf beiden Geräten synchron und nicht die eine hälfte auf dem iMac und die andere auf dem MacBookPro

Ich hoffe es gibt eine Möglichkeit das zu machen !! Danke im voraus

Vielen Dank, aber mein Problem war eher, dass ich one drive auf meinem PC überhaupt gar nicht richtig aktiviert hatte, wie ich eben herausgefunden habe. Ich hatte nämlich irgendwann mal im Autostart-Menü im Taskmanager die one drive Funktion deaktiviert
und hatte dementsprechend diesen extra one drive-Ordner überhaupt nicht.
