Limit access in Project to read-only

We are currently in the test phase of Project plan 1. The idea is to create a project plan that can then be viewed by employees in teams in Planner. These people should be able to see the plan, but not edit it. How can I assign the permissions for this plan to the individual employees?Unfortunately, I cannot set any permissions here.

 evtl. kann eine ReadOnly ADO-Connection helfen.

Are you able to open the files?

Is the problem that when you are only able to open the files in Read Only mode?

Where your files save to a CD or DVD? If so, the "Read Only" attribute may have been set on and can be turned off by right clicking on a file in Windows Explorer or the File Explorer and then left click on Properties.,

seitens Microsoft habe ich die Mitteilung, dass sich das Problem nicht nachvollziehen lasse:

"... tried a .docx and a .doc, as well as emailing them to open through Outlook. In all cases, VoiceOver was able to read the document even with read only or compatibility mode on."

Kannst du bitte die genaue Office-Version mitteilen und ob das Problem eventuell nach einem Update von Office oder Mac Os aufgetaucht ist?

Hallo Erik,

möglicherweise ist die Präsentation als final markiert worden - danach ist sie lediglich read-only. Dieser Zustand kann aber wieder rückgängig gemacht werden!

Hi Barbara,

The workaround is working fine.

But as you already noted the solution only covers "additional opened projects".

It is not working when you initially open MS Project with a project-File.

I'm going to use a combination of both (Project_Open() and your work-around).

This question may be closed as "answered" by someone.
