Mail Merge button suddenly greyed out

I’ve been using Microsoft Mail Merge frequently, but recently the Mail Merge button to send emails is greyed out, preventing me from sending emails. This issue occurs across all documents, including those that have worked fine in the past. I’ve confirmed that Word, Excel, and Outlook are all up-to-date, I haven’t changed any settings, and I’ve restarted my laptop. Any advice?

The "add contact" menu item is greyed out.

How do I enable it?

Auf der folgenden Seite ( auf Englisch) findest du einen ähnlichen Thread, und dort gibt einige Lösungen von
Daniel, die du ausprobieren kannst:

Office 365 Outlook-Format Text tab greyed out . Wichtig ist, dasss du das Problem im abgesicherten Modus prüfst.

Hallo,
 das ist in Word nicht vorgesehen. Dazu finden sich im WWW allerdings Makros bzw. Add-Ins, siehe beispielsweise folgende Diskussion, in der unter anderem Doug Robbins sein Add-In beschreibt und zur Verfügung stellt:

hast du Outlook eingerichtet?

Wenn du in Word oben rechts auf Freigeben und dann auf Anlage senden klickst, öffnet sich dann Outlook?

Wenn nicht, setze bitte Outlook als Standard, wie hier von Phillip M Jones beschrieben:

Starten dann den Mac neu und teste das Verhalten.
