Microsoft Word crashes if panel at equation tools are opened

Hi,

I have the following issue:

My Word always crashed when I try to open the overview panel in the equation tool bar. Word just stops working and freezes. I "repaired" the whole office 365, opened word in the "safe mode" and opened word without all the add-ins by disabling them in the Trust Center. I ran all updates for windows and office.
What I noticed, the not responding word starts running again after a few second if I turn off the internet. As well, if I restart word without internet and try to open the equation panels, they load, slowly, but they load!

I don't know what else I can try. This problem just appeared today and even a system restore did not fix the problem.

Does someone have an idea? Thanks a lot in advance!

Ich sehe in Ihrem Screenshot, dass Sie Paint geöffnet haben. Ist das immer der Fall, wenn Word abstürzt?

Ich möchte wissen, welches Schutzprogramm Sie verwenden.

Stellen Sie sicher, dass Windows, Office und der Videotreiber auf dem neuesten Stand sind. Laden Sie den Videotreiber direkt von der Herstellerwebsite herunter.

Versuchen Sie, die Hardwarebeschleunigung zu deaktivieren.

Datei > Optionen > Erweitert > Anzeigen > Hardwaregrafikbeschleunigung deaktivieren.

Ich freue mich auf Ihre Rückmeldung.

Go to Word> Preferences> View
Clear the check for Image Placeholders

Word/Einstellungen/Ansicht/Anzeigen/

bei Platzhalter für Grafiken Häckchen entfernen

und das Problem ist gelöst!

this is the German Microsoft Community. Either ask in German here or use the English version, if you don't speak German (you can switch languages at the bottom right of this Website).

But as this is an easy question: No, objects are only clickable in presentation mode. If you want to start a macro in Edit mode, use the Macro command on the Developer Tools tab.

Hallo Lisa,

das hat leider zu nichts geführt. Ich konzentriere mich mal auf Word. Beim starten von Word kommt die Fehlermeldung "Office Open XML file normal.dotm cannot be opened because there are problems with the contents". Hast Du da noch einen Tip.
