das die Listen der most recently used files nicht synchronisiert werden, ist tatsächlich
by design.

Offenbar kämpfen nicht allzu viele Anwender*innen mit diesem Problem, weil sie vorwiegend offline oder doch immer online arbeiten. Immerhin kannst du auf UserVoice für eine Änderung stimmen:

Du kannst die Formatierung ruhig Umstellen. Deine Nachrichten werden weiter normal aussehen und Empfänger ohne Exchange Server werden keine Winmail.dat Anhänge bekommen. Die Interne Kommunikation bleibt weiter im TNEF Format. Sehe bitte mehr über die Inhaltskonvertierungsinformationen

Hallo Peter,

Konvertiere ich das Dokument in ein Word2010-Format erfolgt gar kein Absturz, auch nicht wenn noch die .dot eingebunden ist.

Wir haben natürlich tausende von Dateien, die auf den bestehenden Vorlagen beruhen und daher im Word 2003-Format abgelegt sind. Diese können wir jetzt nicht alle nach 2010 konvertieren.

warum werden tausende (alter) Dateien zukünftig benötigt? Und was spricht gegen das Konvertieren all dieser Dokument, wenn sie tatsächlich weiterhin bearbeitet werden müssen?
