New Outlook - Guest and / or External Calendar does't work

I'm Diane, an Office Apps & Services MVP specializing in Outlook and an Independent Advisor.

You can either create a new office group for the list or you can create a calendar (or shared mailbox) and give the group permission to access it.

I found a solution that currently works and wohld like other People to participate...

Solution tot he problem of MS exchange accounts (outlook.com or live or hotmail) not syncing properly on android devices.



scenario



1. Only the main calendar will sync.



2. Contacts (of the same account) will only sync once for the first time and then refuse to sync to the Android device, no matter if you add or delete contacts on
that device or on the web interface or a PC.



This example ist for Android 4.2.2 jelly bean and use with Samsung S-Planner and the native contacts APP.



1. Remove the MS Exchange Account from Android and make sure that any unsynct contacts are manually stored away.



2. From Google PlayStore, MS provides the free APP named “outlook.com” – download and install it, enter the credentials of the MS account and activate the check boxes Contact Sync and Calendar Sync.



3. Android now shows under settings / accounts a new type of account named “outlook.com”. The APP itself is also a small eMail client itself.



4. Now the native calendar APP of S-Planner will show all calenders of the account, and you can make any of them visible or invisible. Be careful when entering calendar appointments to go into the correct calendar, often named “username’s caldenar”.



5. Similarily, the native contacts APP will now show “outlook.com” contacts and you will be able to view them but you cannot edit them or create a new one. When trying to create a new contact, the APP will let you choose all types of accounts but not
coutlook.com. Thus, you need a separate editor to do this.



6. From GooglePlayStore, install “Contact Editor Free” – this small APP now allows you to edit or add contacts to the outlook.com account. It does integrate into Android as when trying to create a contact, you will be asked if you want to use this
editor.

To make sure everything is safe, after having edited a new contact, go into the outlook.com APP and click the little sync icon on the bottom (the double arrow symbol).

Nein, der Familienkalender ist der uns neu aufgezwungene "Family calendar".

Zitat aus der Mail:

“As part of your Microsoft family benefits, we’ve created a new Family calendar for you and your family members. With the shared Family calendar, any member of your family can
 see and schedule events or appointments. No matter what device or OS you use, you can access the family calendar by signing in to Outlook.com with your Microsoft account. Everyone in your family already has access to your family calendar, so start simplifying
 your family’s schedules now!”
Nein, es ist kein Synchronisationsproblem. da der Kalender leer war als er auftauchte.

Erst nachdem ich die Daten hinein importiert habe, habe ich feststellen müssen, dass ich diese nicht mehr ändern/löschen kann.

Events des Familienkalender lassen sich weder mit Outlook, Outlook.com, Kalender für Windows 10, Windows Phone 7.5 und auch nicht mit Windows 10 Mobile löschen.

Könnt ihr bitte einfach den ganzen Familien Kalender von mir zurücksetzten?

Add iCalendar files into Outlook

iCalendar (or iCal) files are data files that contain details of events including the date, time and location. iCal files can either be opened in Outlook as a new Outlook Calendar (separate from your existing calendars) or the iCal file can be
saved and imported into your existing Outlook Calendar.

• Open an iCal file in Microsoft
  Outlook
• Import an iCal
  file into your Outlook Calendar

Open an iCal file in Microsoft Outlook
Opening an iCal file in Microsoft Outlook will create a new calendar in your Outlook Calendars that contains the events from the iCal file. This calendar will be completely separate from your other Outlook calendars and will exist in Outlook
until you choose to remove it.

To open an iCal file in Outlook:

1. Click on an iCal link on a website
2. When prompted, click Open. The iCalendar will appear in your Outlook Calendar under 'Other Calendars'.
   

Import an iCal file into your Outlook Calendar
If you would like to add information from an iCal file into your Outlook Calendar:

1. Click on an iCal link on a website
2. When prompted, click Save and save the file to your computer
3. Open Microsoft Outlook and go to File >
   Open > Import
4. When prompted select Import an iCalendar (.ics) or vCalendar file (.vcs) and click
   Next
5. When prompted, browse for the iCal file that you saved to your computer and click
   OK (the file will have the file extension of .ics e.g. basics.ics).
6. When prompted, click Import
7. The dates from the iCal file will now be imported into your existing Outlook Calendar
