Hello,since the 21.09.2022 Outlook, Excel and Word are freezing as soon as one tries to insert an e-mail address or to mention someone.This problem in Excel only occurs when writing just the mail address into a field, as soon as something like "asdf *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***" is inserted it works fine.In Word and Outlook the problem mainly occurs when trying to @ someone from the address book. When typing @ the applications freeze as soon as one selects a contact from the opening drop down.Repairing the office installation or reinstalling fixes this behaviour until the next reboot of the system.Has

Of course,

Since I have a separate domain with e-mail, the Outlook.com account is not my main and not my only account.
So I had to perform step 2 in the tutorial.

I have the IMAP mail accounts re-set up.

So now I am back on the green field and can try to set up the Outlook.com account.

How do I add the account via "e-mail account" or via "manual configuration or additional service types"?

I have log myself correctly.

The direct way "e-mail account" does not go my e-mail address is ***** is and no @ Outlook.com address.
My account with Microsoft is my e-mail address *****

Therefore, somehow simply can not work.

Frustration....

Hi everyone,

I figured it out.

The problem was not related to outlook, but to googlemail. Got to:

Settings -> Accounts -> "Send as" (section)

There you can set e-mail addresses other than the account e-mail address as default e-mail address. This was the case for me, which resulted in the described "on behalf of" instead of "as" problems.

Ich hab die folgende Anleitung für einen Crash gefunden bei dem outlmime.dll das fehlerhafte Modul ist:

Go to Control Panel > Mail > E-Mail Account.

In the popup window that will appear, take note of all the IMAP accounts (E-Mail panel) and the .ost file paths (Data Files panel).

Navigate through the folder containing the .ost files (you can easily do that from the Data Files panel using the Open file location button).

Create a new BACKUP_yyyyMMdd folder within the folder containing the .ost files.

Move all the .ost files related to the IMAP accounts that you identified earlier.

Launch MS Outlook again.
