OneDrive links cant't be opened by others anymore

Using OneDirive for ages on the one hand to share documents on the other hand to work on the same document together with others I newly got the feedback from others that they can't open my documents anymore - starting in March. They get displayed that something went wrong and should try again later. Or simply that the file doesn't exist.I haven't changed anything, no settings or what so ever.Has there been a policy changing i.e. only MS-clients with an OneDrive account can open shared OD-files?

If the company does not exist anymore and the admin portal is closed, then you will not be able to gain access to the onedrive anymore.

Hello everybody!

As of March 9th, the problem seems to be resolved:
 It's possible again to select OneDrive in the setting of the Files app on iPad OS.
 When it's selected here, files on OneDrive can seemingly be opened in any app on the iPad.

 Thanks for the reference to "user voice". In that I saw a comment by another user saying " XXX but cannot be done with OneDrive except by creating folder junctions (symlinks)" --> would you know if that might actually be a solution for the problem? Creating a link in the local onedrive folder directing to another hard disk?

That is very cool. Good t know that others have the same issue and got a work around. Even better would be a microsoft that listens to users and get rid of this bug feature. next version of office? Would that be possible? That'll be awesome!

Hi Barbara,

The workaround is working fine.

But as you already noted the solution only covers "additional opened projects".

It is not working when you initially open MS Project with a project-File.

I'm going to use a combination of both (Project_Open() and your work-around).
