OneDrive sync behind Direct Access to OnPrem Sharepoint

Noch Fragen dazu:

Wenn das Uploadcenter ein anderes Programm ist als OneDrive, welches Programm ist dann für die Sync der Dateien zuständig?

Wenn beide synchronisieren, dann können sie sich ja behindern.

Eigenartig erscheint mir auch, dass die ganze Problematik nicht auftritt, wenn ich eine komplett neue Datei erstelle und abspeichere.

I understand your concern is regarding possibility of your company being able to access your data on Personal OneDrive.

Please find my answers in the same order:

1. If you have enabled sync from your personal OneDrive to local folder and your company has any rule/policy enabled to scan/access your local files, then they could possibly access those files.

2. Folders that are 'Online' available only will not be accessible as they would need your credentials to access.

3. Admin will not be able to login to your Personal OneDrive as that would also require your credentials.

Hallo Alexander,

hab mit adsiedit auf der OnPrem Seite die 3 Attribute geleert. Hat im ersten Schritt nicht funktioniert, da der User noch eine Archivmailbox hatte. Ich habe dann noch das Attribut msExchArchiveGUID geleert. In Onprem änderte sich der Recipienttype zu Mailuser.
Dann nochmal die E3 Lizenz entzogen und wieder zugewiesen. Nach dem nächsten AADConnect Sync war die Mailbox dann in O365 wieder sichtbar. Als letzte Schritte konnte ich dann mit set-mailuser die ExchangeGuid und ArchiveGuid wieder zuweisen und die Mailbox
nach OnPrem verschieben.

Es wird bereits daran gearbeitet Unterstützung für SharePoint Online Bibliotheken in OneDrive zu implementieren.

Thank you for coming to the forum.

I am sorry to inform you that OneDrive does not have such features. The way OneDrive works is this:

There are some selected folders that OneDrive can sync, those folders are your complete Desktop, Documents, and Pictures. It will sync all the contents, you cannot select what to sync and what not to sync. It will sync the whole documents in those folders

Another thing, you can do is to move the folder directory you want to the OneDrive Folder created for you when you install OneDrive and sign in, you will see it in the left pane of your File explorer.
