OneDrive uploaded all my files & removed them from my PC, Cannot access them

Unfortunately I can't find the files by searching them or in Word.
1. I don't have an 365 Abo, do you know if I can use the "Reset my whole OneDrive"-function also if I only buy the Abo now? Does it work retroperspectively? If yes, I think this could solve my problem.
2. Do you know what happens with OneDrive files when one overwrites them with "Copy+replace"? This is how I lost my file and still it's not in the bin.

<br />despite you stating that symbolic links aren't supported in OneDrive, I managed to fix the issue.
<br />The problem was using actual symbolic links instead of junctions. e.g. mkdir /d instead of mkdir /j
<br />I removed my symbolic links to the folders and re-created them by letting OneDrive start syncing the folders in question, then exiting it. Some files were there, deleted them all. Re-created the junctions with mkdir /j, let OneDrive run again and check everything and now the problem is gone.
<br />Seems that junctions can handle soft links to folders better than symbolic links.

I ran the following test:

I took a .docx file I created on my office PC which was stored on our server and saved it locally to my PC harddrive. I then save a copy as .doc as well. Then I emailed both files to my office Outlook account AND my iCloud account (with one email).

BOTH files did NOT open from my Outlook account and BOTH files just opened fine from my iCloud account.

I then forwarded the email from my Outlook account to my iCloud account and now BOTH files did NOT open anymore.

So it seems that my Outlook account (Exchange server) corrupts the files.

Can that be?

<br />I try to explain my problem once more in English:
I have created my own shortcuts in MS WORD, f.e. command+control+r gets my characters red.
<br />For different reasons I created two accounts on my Macbook (iOS Big Sur):
<br />- The first one has an data immigration by Time Machine. But this produces a littel other problem, which is not off topic here. To fix this I create a secona account

<br />- The second account: All datas were put on there manuel from a second backup, so all the applications. That means the application are "fresh", without my individual created shortcut.
<br />-> My question is: Where does Mac OS hide these indidual shortcuts, so I can go into the system of the first account, copy that file and move it to the system of the second account.
<br />I thought to rember, that they are in the "hidden library". You can open it: finder menu -> go to + option --> then you look in the folder preferences for com.microsoft.Word.plist
<br />I found this file and some others with this beginning. I copied them and moved them into the same folder of the second account's system. But it changed nothing.

ich hatte heute Kontakt mit MS-Support. Wir konnten keine Remoteverbindung zu meinem MAC herstellen. Deshalb wurde ich gebeten, das gleiche auf einem Windows-Computer zu versuchen. Nachdem ich dort den Account in O365 hinzugefügt hatte erschien er auch auf dem MAC. Das konnte ich mit allen Accounts machen. Wir haben festgestellt dass das letzte O365 Update am 14.2. durchgeführt wurde, was ungefähr mit dem Start meiner Probleme zusammen hing. Ich wurde gebeten die Dez, Version von O365 zu installieren und dann zu versuchen. Was ich bei Gelegenheit probieren möchte.

UPDATE.
Hier das endgültige Ergebnis -> Mail an den Support in Englisch:

there is definitely a bug in the latest O365 version.
Before I started, I removed 2 of my 3 OneDrive Business accounts from my Microsoft computer.
Then I removed O365 on my MAC and installed 16.68 (22121100)
When I started Word, I could see my personal account and the Business account I did not remove from the Windows computer.
I added one of the OneDrive Business accounts without any problems.
After that I started AutoUpdate and Excel, Word and Teams were updated to 16.70 (23021201).
Now I tried to add the 3rd OneDrive Business Account Without Success
Going back to my Windows PC I just saw my personal account and the one I left before.
I added both of my remaining Business account (also the one I already added in my Mac) after that all three accounts where available also in my Mac.
I think this procedure proofed that there is a bug in version 16.70 (23021201).
