OneNote opens only 1 section (although there are more)

Hi!

I have a problem with the OneNote of a colleague.

It concerns OneNote 2016 on Windows 10 Enterprise, with an MS Surface Pro 4.

When she opens a OneNote book - via the onetoc2-file in Windows Explorer or via the open function in OneNote - only 1 section of the OneNote book is opened. If she adds more, they're gone after a restart.

She is the only one with this problem. It is working for all others - we all have the same OneNote version.

In that case, definitely check in the Q&A forum - there are a lot more people there who are doing what you are doing and will be able to help you get it working.

There is a new problem: I cannot uninstall Onedrive - although I did restart the Laptop, there is always the message: Onedrive is open and can therefore not be moved to the trash.

I'm happy to help you
sync notes between an Android phone and a computer.

You can use a web browser to access your OneDrive account.
After you log in, your notes will automatically sync.

1. Open onedrive.comfrom your computer
and log in with your Microsoft account.

2.
Find the notebook you want and click it to open it in OneNote or OneNote Online.

Synchronization occurs automatically when you switch between notes and sections.
For example, if you enter a new note and then go back to the section view, the new notes are synchronized with OneDrive.

· * Tap the overflow menu and press Sync
All to syncall notes and sections, as well as all new OneDrive notebooks, on the Synchronize Notebook page.

Das dürfte das Problem sein, das schon seit Tagen im englischen Forum mehrfach aufgezeigt wurde und "nur" OneNote 2010 betrifft.

Ursache dürfte (mal wieder, wie schon 2017) eine inkompatible Änderung in OneDrive sein.

Is the problem that when you are only able to open the files in Read Only mode?

Where your files save to a CD or DVD? If so, the "Read Only" attribute may have been set on and can be turned off by right clicking on a file in Windows Explorer or the File Explorer and then left click on Properties.,
