Outlook Calendar not loading properly when opening the first time

<br />I already have the Outlook icon on the taskbar.
<br />I'm looking for the possibility of opening the Outlook calendar directly from the taskbar or from the start menu without first starting Outlook with all the functions.
<br />It is very cumbersome to start Outlook first and then call up the calendar function.

Sorry but it would be really helpful if the description of the problem were read properly. It is precisely because it is not possible to do this that I posted here in the first place. When I try to do anything with that account it refuses to let me in and gives the error message that the account name does not exist. It does. Microsoft created it. I have no access to it, that is the problem.

When you added the Outlook.com account to outlook, it should be added as an exchange account - and you'll have two calendars - the old one you used before and the new one in outlook.com.

When you change the view on the old one to list view - outlook is usually goofy and first changes the view on the default calendar (which is now outlook.com's) - select the old calendar again and change the view to list view.

And if I move it to the outlook.com calender I can access them via outlook.com/phone, but I am still not sure what happens when I add stuff to the new outlook.com calender in my outlook desktop client when I don't have internet access.

The Outlook app on your phone will only sync with calendars stored on a server - that would be Gmail, yahoo/aol, iCloud and outlook.com/exchange.

So, 2 of your 4 calendars will sync to the mobile device.

Local (Only this PC) <== won't sync anywhere

Study <== this is the ics file added as an internet calendar? It won't sync anywhere if subscribed in Outlook desktop software. If you subscribe to it in Outlook.com, it will sync to both Outlook desktop and the phone app. However, there are some issues with calendars subscribed in outlook.com updating, so it might not update after the first time (until they fix it).

Family calendar <== Outlook.com family calendar? This should sync to the Outlook mobile app as an exchange account.

Google Calendar <== this is a subscribed calendar in outlook desktop. the Gmail account needs added to the mobile device as an Outlook.com or Exchange account. If you subscribe to it in Outlook.com, it will sync - but adding the account to the mobile is better, especially since subscribed calendars aren't updating properly for some users.

Add iCalendar files into Outlook

iCalendar (or iCal) files are data files that contain details of events including the date, time and location. iCal files can either be opened in Outlook as a new Outlook Calendar (separate from your existing calendars) or the iCal file can be
saved and imported into your existing Outlook Calendar.

• Open an iCal file in Microsoft
  Outlook
• Import an iCal
  file into your Outlook Calendar

Open an iCal file in Microsoft Outlook
Opening an iCal file in Microsoft Outlook will create a new calendar in your Outlook Calendars that contains the events from the iCal file. This calendar will be completely separate from your other Outlook calendars and will exist in Outlook
until you choose to remove it.

To open an iCal file in Outlook:

1. Click on an iCal link on a website
2. When prompted, click Open. The iCalendar will appear in your Outlook Calendar under 'Other Calendars'.
   

Import an iCal file into your Outlook Calendar
If you would like to add information from an iCal file into your Outlook Calendar:

1. Click on an iCal link on a website
2. When prompted, click Save and save the file to your computer
3. Open Microsoft Outlook and go to File >
   Open > Import
4. When prompted select Import an iCalendar (.ics) or vCalendar file (.vcs) and click
   Next
5. When prompted, browse for the iCal file that you saved to your computer and click
   OK (the file will have the file extension of .ics e.g. basics.ics).
6. When prompted, click Import
7. The dates from the iCal file will now be imported into your existing Outlook Calendar
