    Hi, I had stored some stuff in my university One Drive and recently graduated. Now I cant access that account anymore, is there a way to restore the data?Thanks!

    I ran the following test:

    I took a .docx file I created on my office PC which was stored on our server and saved it locally to my PC harddrive. I then save a copy as .doc as well. Then I emailed both files to my office Outlook account AND my iCloud account (with one email).

    BOTH files did NOT open from my Outlook account and BOTH files just opened fine from my iCloud account.

    I then forwarded the email from my Outlook account to my iCloud account and now BOTH files did NOT open anymore.

    So it seems that my Outlook account (Exchange server) corrupts the files.

    Can that be?

    Hello Heinz,

    Are you using a personal Microsoft account (like @hotmail.com or @live.com) or an Office 365 account (like from a school or business)? If it's the former, when a video is uploaded into a Sway, it is actually stored in your OneDrive account. If you then
    move or delete files in your OneDrive account this can happen. To fix you'd just want to put the file back with the same name at the previous location or just re-upload it into your Sway.

    gefunden. Ich empfehle dir, dass du alle Dateien vom alten OneDrive lokal auf deinem PC speicherst. Dann melde dich in deinem neuen OneDrive for Business Konto und beginne die Dateien (Ordner bei Ordner) zu synchronisieren.

    Datenübertragung zwischen zwei Onedrive Konten

    <br />danke für deine schnelle Antwort.
    <br />So wie ich das nach den Anleitungen verstehe, ist das Kopieren nur mit einem Zwischenspeicher auf dem PC möglich.
    <br />Die Dateien würden dann zunächst auf dem PC liegen und dann in die Onedrive hochgeladen werden.
    <br />Da ich allerdings sehr viele Daten auf meiner Onedrive habe, würde das sehr lange dauern. Das möchte ich nach Möglichkeit umgehen.

    The sending "From" account always defaults to Outlook.com account when replying or forwarding an email from another non-Outlook.com account [WORKAROUND]

    Last updated: April 27, 2017

    ISSUE

    If you have multiple email accounts connected in Outlook, the Outlook.com account always becomes the default sending "from" account when replying or forwarding from another non-Outlook account (such as Gmail or Yahoo).

    STATUS: WORKAROUND

    The fix for this issue will be released towards the middle of May 2017. In the meantime, you can use the following workarounds:

    Workaround #1:

    This issue is fixed in the Insider Fast builds. To get the fix now, you can join the

    Insider program
    .

    Workaround #2:

    Manually change the From drop down filed to the other account. In the message window, above the
    To button, click From, and choose the account you want to use.

    Workaround #3:

    Add an empty data file and make it the default.

    Note: If you use this workaround and are using another account other than the Outlook.com account, creating new items like Calendar, Contacts, and Tasks will get created in the new Data File. However, if you are using the Outlook.com account,
    those items will get created in the Outlook.com accounts respective folder.

    1. In Outlook, click the File tab.
    2. In the right pane, click Account Settings, and then click
      Account Settings
      .

    3. Click the Data Files tab and then click Add, and choose Outlook Data File (.pst).
    4. In the File name field, name the Outlook Data File (.pst) or leave the default name and click
      OK.
    5. On the same Data Files tab, choose the new Outlook Data File (.pst) and click
      Set as Default.
    6. Close and then restart Outlook.
    When Outlook opens back up, you will see the new account Data File listed like your other accounts. In the left
    Folder Pane, you can drag the Data File below your other email accounts to get it out of the way.
