SARA Network Setup - cant find file

Hello All,

Im following this guide to install SARA from a network share: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/troubleshoot/installation/install-sara-from-network-share

Its to download the file from aka.ms/SaraNetworkInstallFiles, extract it to a shared folder and call the setup.

When I call the setup its not doing anything, when I call the setup with /debug switch it tells me "System cant find specified file" and ends the installation.

The same happens when the files are copied locally and executed.

For me it looks the Files uploaded at aka.ms/SaraNetworkInstallFiles are corrupted or am I doing something wrong?

Leider nein, bleibt demzufolge nur die manuelle Deinstallation. Gibt aber sehr viel Arbeit. sonst noch eine Lösung?
<br />Wie sieht es mit dem "SaraSetup" (Installieren und Verwalten SaRA Tools aus einer Netzwerkfreigabe - Office 365 | Microsoft Docs" von MS aus. Kann dieses Tool Office restlos löschen?

vielen Dank, dass du dich dem Problem angenommen hast.

Leider funktioniert dein Lösungsvorschlag bei mir nicht. Ich hab die Datei runtergeladen und entpackt. Mit Doppelklick auf die Setup kommt folgender "Setup Error" (sinngemäß):

"Setup cant find or validate an installation. Please try reinstalling and re-downloading...

If you continue to have problems, please contact Microsoft."

Ich konnte ja leider noch gar nix installieren. Also was (und wie) soll ich da reinstallieren?

Also, tadaaa, kontaktiere ich mal Microsoft. Hier bin ich

Hast du noch eine Idee?

Das Problem ist noch nicht abgschließend gelöst, der Job läuft jetzt zwar (das war der erste Schritt), aber er kommt immer noch mit der Fehlermeldung "Datei ist Passwort geschützt" zurück.

Hallo,

nach Eingabe des Product Keys erscheint die Meldung:

"SETUP.EXE funktioniert nicht mehr - das Programm wird aufgrund eines Problems nicht richtig ausgeführt. Das Programm wird geschlossen und Sie werden benachrichtigt, wenn eine Lösung verfügbar ist."

Bei einem zweiten Versuch kam nicht einmal mehr die Aufforderung zur Eingabe des Keys, sondern gleich die Meldung, dass das System die Datei nicht finden kann.

Bei einem dritten Versuch erscheint: "Runtime Error! Program E:\SETUP.EXE This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."

Ich habe das Laufwerk abgekoppelt, Surface runtergefahren und neu gestartet. Nach Anschluss des Laufwerks und Anklicken des Symbols erscheint:

"Setup cannot find the required setup controller file. Either there was an network error, an error reading from the CD,DVD, or other installation media, or a problem with the package you downloaded.
