In my work, I often travel to places far away from home. Very often, Google send me an alert about suspicious activities on my computer. Right now, some of the activities I did to "recover my account" led to the fact that Outlook cannot log on to the server of my E-Mails. I had to change the password of my GMAIL account. This password works, I have access to my mails. But when Outlook accesses the server, it asks for the password and rejects booth new and old ones. Honestly, I don't know right now what to do.

In order to avoid this in future, I would like inform Gmail of my travels, e.g. on the day I leave home. I have not seen any possibility to enter into contact with GMAIL.

I'd be grateful for any suggestion

es gibt ja google alerts, dass heißt man bekommt news zum ausgewählten thema per E-mail zugesendet. Das gleiche gibt es von Microsoft und zwar die MSN alerts. Ich möchte gerne wissen, wie ich Themen über die benarchrichtigt werden will hinzufüge oder entferne.

ein Eintrag in MS Office Alerts lautet:

"Informationen 19.10.2012 10:58:56 Microsoft Office 14 Alerts
300 Keine"

So, wie der Fehler sich darstellt, ist es vergleichbar mit einer OnClick-Routine, in welcher das Fenster für die Anzeige nicht den Focus erhält. Das würde auch keine Fehlermeldung hervorrufen, vermute ich.
