wie bekomme ich Unterstützung? Völlig ahnungslos, wie ich an meine Daten komme?

Du musst die "alte" Systemsteuerung aufrufen. Findest Du auf der Programmleiste unter "Windows-System". In Systemsteuerung "Mail" anklicken, dann öffnet sich "Mail-Setup - Outlook", Klick auf "Email-Konten", dann Konto auswählen und Du bist wieder in der
alt bekannten Anzeige.

Warum das nicht mehr direkt funktioniert ist ein Microsoft-Mysterium!

Das Problem ist gelöst und lag NICHT an Microsoft / Outlook.

Lösung: In Go Daddy im Email-Setup Center muss ein Wert für Messages sent today (SMTP Relays) stehen. Bei mir stand da 0/0 und hätte 0/250 sein sollen. Nach Eintragen des korrekten Wertes ließ sich das Konto sofort und problemlos einrichten.

Trotzdem Vielen Dank an Microsoft für das Engagement.

es funktioniert aber der DWORD Eintrag muss unter HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Setup oder HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Setup

eine solche Funktion bietet Outlook nicht. Du kannst mal schauen, ob folgende Makros eventuell interessant für dich sind:

Guten Tag,

zu den Fragen:

Ich nutze aktuell Outlook 2016 Version 1707 (Build 8326.2096), wobei das Problem auch schon vor dem aktuellsten Update aufgetreten ist
Das Problem entsteht nur im Zusammenhang mit Outlook. Ein Familienmitglied hat das gleiche Setup und das gleiche Problem. Es ist ebenfalls ein Microsoft-Account.
Ich besitze einen zweiten PC mit aus meiner Sicht identischem Setup. Doch Emails von diesem Outlook-Client zeigen den Umlaut richtig an.
