I'm using "SMS BackUp & Restore" since years.Since a few weeks - at least two - I can't backup my sms and calls to OneDrive from my mobil device Android any more.I have an old microsoft account and I'm only using Onedrive and somtimes mail windows on PC since.I do have OneDrive and the mentioned SMS BackUp & Restore on my Android phone. And outlook mobile - only for the case I should need it.Just in case: I'm using the free version of Onedrive/Office/OutlookI do got "wired" messages from SMS B. & R. for SMS and for Calls like 'Error - PUT https://my.microsoftpersonalcontent.c

Hallo Ingo,

danke für Deine Info hinsichtlich des richtigen Forums für meine Anfrage.

Bisher konnte ich Outlook-, Live- und Hotmailkonten durchaus als Pop3-Konten konfigurieren. Früher war dazu ein Outlook-Connector erforderlich, nicht jedoch bei Windows 8.

Manuelles Einrichten war also möglich. Eine Datensicherung war einfach über ein Backup / Restore der pst-Dateien (eine Datei für alle Konten mit zahlreichen Eigenschaften) gegeben.

Beim automatischen Einrichten wird Exchange ActiveSync konfiguriert. Leider weiß ich hier nicht wie bestimmte Konfigurationen und Backup / Restore erfolgen können.

Vielen Dank für deine Antwort. Ich werde nochmals ein Ticket bei Microsoft eröffnen und nachfragen was die Offizielle Empfehlung ist. Denke nicht das Microsoft eine Empfehlung für Software von Dritten empfehlen wird. Ich weis auch nicht wie ein restore bei einem Image Backup funktionieren soll, wenn der PC in der Cloud ist. Für eine Einfache Datensicherung würde dies aber sicherlich funktionieren.
