I was trying to add a closed curly back bracket 3 high at the end of my formula, then I noticed that word does not turn the syntax intothe re-responding symbol.this is the case for every symbol like \underbrace and \alpha yes I do press space afterward.is there a setting that controls this function that I might have turned off?Thanks in advanceJohn Jay, Hense

Hi Felix

If you use the Value function, does that work for you, for example if the long number is in A1 and you want to multiply that by B1, try this formula:

=VALUE(A1) * B1

ich habe mir die Links mal durchgelesen und ein Mitarbeiter von Refworks hat mir versichtert, dass das Programm nun auch mit Word 2010 kompatibel ist. Ich vermute es liegt an der Installationsart von Word.

"Please note that Write-N-Cite may not work with Word 2010. It does not work if the "Click to run" version of Office is installed on your computer. This "Virtual" version of Word is not compatible with many Add-ins"

Da der Laufzeitfehler sich mit "Microsoft Visual Basic" ankündigt, nehme ich an, das hier das Problem liegt. Wie kann ich Word denn "anders" installieren?
