Trendline R^2 Value changes after linearization, but is identical on a colleagues PC

Individual users can change the link for the app's UI using the link that appears on the lower left of the My Sways page, but this does not change the language of the content you have typed in. Sway does not have a built in translator so it will always
display in the language you entered. If you want to translate the content, the viewers will have to use a browser feature or add-on after opening it. One thing you can do to help with this translation is to indicate the language that your Sway is in using
the Settings pane found on the ... menu, but again, this won't do the actual translation.

I tested this on my PC, seems to be a bug. I am also not able to change the setting. Let's hope this will be solved after the new Windows update.

Are you on a Windows Vista machine? If so, you could try going through the following steps.
The steps below involve making change to the registry, so if you are not comfortable with making these changes, you may want to open up a support case with Microsoft to have them go through these with you, since making an incorrect change could result
in you not being able to use your computer. In addition to this, I would recommend backing up the problematic key before making any changes.



+>Close Access.

+>Open the registry by clicking on the start menu, typing in regedit, and then launching regedit.exe.

+>Navigate to the following registry key on your Windows Vista machine (there are several keys that look similar to this, so be sure you are on the correct key):



HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\COMPONENTS\Winners\x86_policy.9.0.microsoft.vc90.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_none_02d0010672fd8219\9.0



+>To back up this key, you can right click on it and choose export.
Then in the export dialog, give it a name, make sure the export range has “selected branch” selected, and then save it to a folder on your machine (ex. desktop).

+>After you select the 9.0 key, you will see several values listed on the right hand side. One default value that is followed by a list of additional values that look like version numbers below it.

+>Change the default value from the version listed to the latest version number in the list below it. When the problem occurs, the default value tends to be 9.0.30304.0. You would then change this default value to the latest version number in the list below
it. To change the default value, you would double click on the default value and in the dialog that opens, type in the new value.
For example, if the last value / most recent version in the list was 9.0.30729.4148, you would change the default key value to this value (make sure you change the default value to an actual most recent value that exists in the list below it).

+>After you make this change, you can close the registry and test Access again.
If Access works, you should be all set. If it still fails, you can restore the registry key you changed by double clicking on the .reg file you exported above.

I can reproduce this issue. But there is a work around:

Create a class module (I called it clsEvents) and add the following code:

Public WithEvents ProjApp As MSProject.Application

Private Sub ProjApp_NewProject(ByVal pj As Project)

MsgBox "Do what you need to do on Project_Open"

End Sub

Create a (normal) module with this code:

Public ProjEvents As New clsEvents

Sub EnableEvents()

Set ProjEvents.ProjApp = MSProject.Application

End Sub

Add the following code in your ThisProject(Global.mpt)

Private Sub Project_Activate(ByVal pj As Project)

Call EnableEvents

End Sub

Project_Activate is fired on each project change, also for creating projects from any template. This will enable events calling procedure EnableEvents. The events are in the class module. After enableing events, you have a lot to choose from (also task,
resource and assignment events). I used "NewProject". Note: this does not mean " a new project is created" but "an additional project is opened"

Currently, the only controls available for individual cards are emphasis, accent, bullets, and numbers. One of Sway's tenets is that it looks good on any device for the reader and it generates a layout tailored to the device it is being viewed upon. To
accomplish that, Sway will resize and reposition content as necessary and this means that the author is only given a set of intent-based authoring controls instead of the ability to specify exactly how and where it should layout. This is definitely a difference
from more traditional authoring tools, but helps assure that the Sway that is produced looks great. The ability to specifically change fonts and colors on a more granular level is something that we are considering as a future improvement, but we have no specific
plans to communicate with regards to it.
