Use and link multiple excel-objects in a word-document

Ich würde statt xlOpen, wie Claus es vorschlägt, eher xlVerbPrimary nehmen. Das hat den Unterschied das das eingebettete Word-Object in Excel zum Editieren geöffnet wird, statt in einer neuen Instanz.

Wenn Du statt SELECTION das OLE-Object benutzt, dann hast Du hinterher auch sehr einfach Zugriff auf das Word-Object und kannst dann auf alle Word-Objecte direkt zugreifen, z.b. auch auf Bookmark => die Textmarke.

Aber der Programmieraufwand für sowas lohnt sich nicht, es ist einfacher und hinterher viel schneller wenn man gleich alles in eine seperate Exceltabelle kopiert und auf diese direkt zugreift.

Wenn Du auf das eingebettete Object zugreifst, dann muss immer eine Instanz der Application zusätzlich gestartet werden. Und zwar jedesmal!

Here is what I originally typed:

You can create form letters in Access that can read from multiple records much more easily. You can use text blocks that concatenate in data fields. and then have rows in your detail band or maybe a subreport, to display the multi-row data.

So it translated concatenate to chained and detail band to detail book.

Basically I generally create my form letters, especially ones that use multiple records, in Access. Its not hard to do and much easier to report on data that spans multiple records.

eine Einstellung in Microsoft Excel gibt es so nicht.

Meines Erachtens nach liegt es daran dass Microsoft Excel eine MDI Anwendung (Multiple Document Interface) ist.

Teste doch bitte die Workarounds, auch so bekommst du dann mehrere Instanzen für Microsoft Excel.
