Weekly I get 150+ Spam mails in my inbox.

Now that's what I call real support! Although I do not like to change things manually in the Registry, your tip appears to do the trick. I cannot believe this is not the default setting for Outlook. Now, I only have one mail in my Inbox that should be in
my archive. In other words, the oldest mail in my Inbox is dated Sept 15, 2017, and the most recent mail in my archive is dated Oct. 12, 2017. Logically speaking, it should be Sept. 14, 2017. Do you have any explanation for this weird behaivor?

Yea this is what I am trying to do. But when I do this, I only get a mesage about adding my e-mail account and not the microsft account asosiatet with that e-mail.

<br />it looks like your suggestion has worked. It did however not solve the3 problem of my lost Outlook 2016 account, but via Outlook.com by Browser, I can get my mails from my yahoo mail, with all my existing folders and rules.

I didnot install office on my laptop. It had come with preinstalled office 365 apps.
I received the purchase confirmation from lenovo germany on my gmail id (which is actually from India)
I have actually used the student discount while purchaseing the laptop using my university email id to get discount and while billing I gave my indian gmail id.
I am using the same indian gmail id for logging in to my microsoft account for activating the office on my laptop. I also tried asking for help on lenovo support but they say to ask microsoft support to give product key or activation help. I also asked microsoft but I get no response.

<br />doesn't work.
<br />The Filter Option is ONLY for elements in the folder.
<br />So, if I'm in the folder Inbox and activate the filter, it displays only the elements in the folder inbox, not the elements in my folder Microsoft.
<br />I created a rule, that all mails with subject "microsoft" should be moved automatically in the folder microsoft and so the aren't in the folder Inbox anymore.

In the Outlook Windows App, the folder can see unread messages in the entire mailbox, not just in the inbox.
