Will there soon be a way to import tasks as CSV in To-Do?

I have the same Problem:

I want to switch from iPhone to a Windows Phone. I have been trying all morning to copy my contacts from iPhone to Outlook, and am immensely frustrated that this is super complicated to do and not working..


So far, for the simple task of migrating my contacts I have had to:

• download iTunes
  
• download iCloud
  
• sync my iPhone with iTunes and iCloud
  
• from iCloud.com I saved my contacts as VCard on my Windows Desktop (so far so good)
  

• Now, Windows “People" will not allow me to upload VCard contacts on the desktop (why not?), so I have to go to outlook.com
  
• on outlook.com I select the section “People". Here I can select upload contacts from a file via
  
  https://people.live.com/import/other?biciid=ImportCatalog, but it only allows to use CSV format, and not the industry standard VCard used every where else
  
• I used a VCF => CSV conversion tool, and saved the VCard as a CSV file on my desktop
  
• Every time “Outlook.com” tries to upload the CSV file with my contacts it tells me “The file is empty or not in the correct format” (see screenshot)
  

• Next, I downloaded several different VCard => CSV conversion tools / apps, and saved the VCard as a CSV files on my desktop. None of them worked, and it always said the format is not right.
  

Now I am really annoyed and frustrated. I wasted several hours of my life trying to do this shit and it still doesn’t work. Why do you make it so difficult for people to migrate from Apple to Windows? This should be made easy for people!

What can I do to save my iPhone / iCloud contacts under windows “People"?

ALSO, PLEASE SEND TO THE MICROSOFT R&D / DEVELOPMENT TEAM:
(1) CAN YOU PLEASE PROGRAMME A TOOL, TO IMPORT ICLOUD CONTACTS DIRECTLY TO WINDOWS “PEOPLE”?

This should be added as an option under this link:
https://people.live.com/import ; or better - this option should be directly in the Desktop "People" Application, without having to go to the internet.

Please fix this, otherwise I cannot migrate from iPhone to windows phone!

(2) or as a work-around; CAN YOU UPGRADE “PEOPLE” SO THAT VCARDS CAN DIRECTLY BE UPLOADED HERE?

Migrating contacts from iPhone to Windows is so incredibly complicated and frustrating. If there is no easy solution I will just buy an iPhone again, and not a Windows phone…!!!

And there is no way to follow the steps you described in your first answer when OneDrive is already installed and set up? To simply choose a folder to be synchronised seems to be the easiest way to me.

Is there a way to put all 6TB into one account - for me there is no need to have a second or third account - I will use these 6TB for my own.
So this would be a way to overthink my decision.

I hate to be the hearer of bad news that is only going to add to your frustration but there is only one way to recover an account and that is via the Microsoft Account Recovery form. If that fails after repeated attempts (up to 2 times a day) then the account is effectively lost. There is no way to bypass the form for account recovery.

There is also no point in trying to contact Microsoft Support for an account you cannot access as described at the top of the following article

As I wanted to access the email account *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***, I received a message that this account needed to be confirmed. Now all the information apparently is not enough to prove that my mother is the owner of the account. There is no more information available more that the name of the account holder, the security question and a couple of contacts. There is no xbox account or credit card information given that it was never provided in the first place. There appears to be a verification email address to which my mother nor I know to whom it belongs.
What to do now? Is this account going to be lost forever? there are important email there, and although the password and the account name were correctly introduced we can not get access to it? that is outrageous. To that it can be summed that there is absolutely no contact information provided that could give some insight into the situation.

Could you please give me some insight as to what should we do to gain access to this account again?
