windows 10: OneDrive sync a folder from another local harddisk

Thank you for coming to the forum. I am a Microsoft user like you and so is almost everyone in this forum.

I am sorry to tell you but you cannot make One Drive sync anything not in its folder directly. Symlinks will not work.

Other than the Desktop, Documents, and Picture folder of your user, anything else has to be in the One Drive folder to work.

Well, to be really honest Microsoft says that not support Symbolic Links in OneDrive client
<br />Microsoft Says in below document:
<br />"You can't add a network or mapped drive as your OneDrive sync location. OneDrive doesn't support syncing using symbolic links or junction points."

<br />Thanks for the reference to "user voice". In that I saw a comment by another user saying " XXX but cannot be done with OneDrive except by creating folder junctions (symlinks)" --> would you know if that might actually be a solution for the problem? Creating a link in the local onedrive folder directing to another hard disk?

Thank you for coming to the forum.

I am sorry to inform you that OneDrive does not have such features. The way OneDrive works is this:

There are some selected folders that OneDrive can sync, those folders are your complete Desktop, Documents, and Pictures. It will sync all the contents, you cannot select what to sync and what not to sync. It will sync the whole documents in those folders

Another thing, you can do is to move the folder directory you want to the OneDrive Folder created for you when you install OneDrive and sign in, you will see it in the left pane of your File explorer.

2. Öffnen Sie die lokal gespeicherten Notizbücher und Verschieben Sie sie auf OneDrive von der Uni:
   
   Verschieben eines Notizbuchs auf OneDrive.
