Is it possible to change the default storage location of M365 groups group files?

SharePoint Online > Documents to e.g. SharePoint Online > Documents > Attachments

A practical example:

An e-mail should be forwarded together with its attachment, but the attachment should be saved to SharePoint beforehand and integrated via a link. In order to keep track, these attachments should end up in the folder "Attachments" and not in the root directory of the documents. A direct selection option would be important. This means that the file does not have to be saved manually beforehand and then reinserted in the e-mail to be forwarded, but can be "uploaded" directly via the menu path in the e-mail accordingly.

When Outlook opens an email message containing an image, temporary files are written into the path specified by the 'Cache' value in the registry under 'HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders'. If this path is not the
default setting, Outlook may be unable to render the image.
For your version of Windows, the default path is:
%userprofile%\appdata\local\microsoft\windows\INetCache

die idee ist, dass du unter den registerschlüssel hkey_current_user\software\im providers den standard im provider ändern kannst. hier wird auch dein tapi anbieter aufgeführt sein. was du brauchst ist, den tapi anbieter unter default eintragen. rechter klick
auf default -> modify auswählen. siehe bild:

bitte beachte was im artikel steht:

"changing the default im provider also affects the other office applications of course. for instance, when you use the contact card in backstage or the comment section in word."

Das kann man momentan leider nicht. Diese Verbesserungsidee wurde bereits im UserVoice vorgeschlagen.
Leider haben nicht viele Benutzer abgestimmt und keinen Entwickler hat Kommentare hinterlassen. Man kann gern zustimmen und kommentieren, aber ohne genug Stimmen, wird es leider nur eine Idee bleiben.

eine solche Funktion bietet Outlook nicht. Du kannst mal schauen, ob folgende Makros eventuell interessant für dich sind:

You can have as many Sways as you want without affecting storage of any other service. The limits within a Sway have to do mostly with the number of pieces of content; see these articles:
