Cannot add additional Gmail-Accounts to Outlook.com Settings > Sync email

The microsoft account is an identity account - like google and iCloud accounts for android and iPhone. You can use a 3rd party address to create the account and use it to log into various services... or your computer or phone.

Outlook.com is a mailbox - like gmail or yahoo. While you can log into it using any alias on your account, it only receives mail sent to an outlook.com address (which can be any Microsoft owned address - such as Hotmail).

You're using a non-Microsoft address for your Microsoft account - the outlook_ugly-code@ address is an internal address and cannot be used to log in or for email.

If you add an outlook.com alias to the account, you can use it for email and add the account to outlook desktop and to your phone. Mail, calendar and contacts in this mailbox will sync between the devices.

Zur ersten Fehlermeldung:

- 2 step verification habe ich überprüft und ist ausgeschaltet. Ich habe es auch niemals eingeschaltet

- die Aufforderung "sign in to Gmail here". Ja, ich habe auf den Link geklickt und mich angemeldet

und anschließend wieder versucht auf "Next" zu drücken. Die Fehlermeldungen wiederholen sich.

Zur zweiten Fehlermeldung:

- Ich habe Internet Verbindung, sonst könnt ich z.B. hier nicht posten.

habe die Lösung gefunden... tönt zwar ganz unlogisch aber hat nach dem Import von Google Mail bei mir geholfen... scheinbar ist da irgendwo noch eine Verknüpfung zum Konto im Hintergrund....

4. Under "Managing your account" Select "Your email accounts"

5. Select "Add a send-and-receive account"

6. Enter your details (click advanced options to add more details) for another POP (I just used an old Gmail account - make sure to ENABLE POP in that Gmail account first)

7. Press Next

For me that was it. The page just sat there importing the new account details for 5 minutes and then hung. I closed the window and my send email was working. No POP account had actually been added.

If your POP account does get added, you can delete it after testing if sending an email works.

This makes no sense at all, but at least it works.
