Gmail account is connected twice

Hello community,

while connecting an Gmail account to outlook.com, I had some problems with the imap permissions. After they were solved the account has got listed twice to the linked mail boxes. I can't remove none of the connections and the really bad thing about is that all mails also are shown two times. I really could need some help here!

Hallo Gudon,

Office 365 kann dir nur die Option 'Connected Accounts' anbieten, damit du eine Verbindung mit externer Service erstellen kannst. Es gibt keine andere Möglichkeit dein Gmail Konto mit Office 365 zu verknüpfen.

Rasika M, if you have a preinstalled Office, you need to sign in with a Microsoft account to activate it.
Regarding the purchased subscription, if it is associated to Gmail, then your subscription is tied to your Gmail account.

Leider gibt es für ein Chromebook keine Outlook-Anwendung. Das Outlook.com Konto, auf das über Webmail zugegriffen wird, unterscheidet sich nicht von jedem anderen Webmail-E-Mail-Konto (z. B. Gmail, Yahoo usw.).

Eine Sache, die Sie vielleicht untersuchen möchten, ist die <Connected account=""> Funktion verfügbar mit einem GMail-Konto, das tun sollte, was Sie wollen.

Thank u a lot ^^ This fixed it. I was worried my account was still somehow connected to the old email, as that would be quite bad in this case, but it seems it's alright now and my primary email is properly used now.

That is the way how to do for the desktop software.
I would like to change my Sending-Name in the Outlook Android App, especially for my Yahoo-Account what I connected to the App.
