Import Outlook Windows PST file into Outlook for MAC

Hi,

During import of my Outlook PST file into Macbook I get the message success and than afterwards "an error has occurred with this file" and nothing is imported, I have the following setup

source:

Windows 10

Office 2016

Outlook 2016

Destination:

Macbook pro 2015

OS Mac Catalina

Office & outlook 16.41 latest version

What I already tried:

Upload PST file to other newer windows outlook Outlook 365

Run ScanPST on office 2016 installation

Run ScanPST on office 365 installation

Import from Onedrive location

Import from USB drive

All giving the same error

WhatI noticed, the import itself "ready" comes within a few second, although the size is 770 MB

Any advise appreciated

Technisch gesehen also sehr kompliziert!

Es gibt allerdings Alternativen, wenn du mal nach olm to pst converter im Web suchst

Ich hoffe, dass dir das weitergeholfen hat. Solltest du weitere Anliegen zum Thema Office haben, so melde dich gerne wieder.

Thanks for the update. I suspected the pst was corrupted - that is why I suggested exporting to a new pst on the windows computer.

I did run it 5 subsequent times without success.

However also the online helpdesk contacted me an they suggest to create a new manual PST file with the export utility on the outlook windows machine and copy that one to oulook MAC machine and import againa

That worked so problem is solved

Hi Diane, Thanks for your reply and yes last night I also copied the PST file to the hard drive of the Macbook, however same problem

Maybe some useful other information, I retried to pull the PST file through the ScanPST tool and surprise he still found errors despite the repair action. The number of errors are much lower, but still some are there.

I rerun several times though ScanPST and after succesfull repair following errors are logged:
