Inquiry regarding the handling of online archiving

Hello Together

We have been using the Online Archive from Microsoft for about 1 year. We have received in January a request from one of our employees that he has the feeling that the Online Archive isn't automatically filled with new e-mails that are older then two years.

To observe this, we saved the size of the archive then and compared it today after two months. Unfortunately, the usage is still the same. Is it because it takes the date of archiving instead of the date of the emails?

Or why isn't the retention policy see my screenshot working?

In your case, it's still very toward business use.

I did that, but Apple didn't see any responsibility and directed me to Microsoft support. I was fed up with the handling and have solved the problem by obtaining a Office 365 Home Subscription at a local store and that of course had a key and serves me well
plus my family members. Thanks for your advise.

There are many types of student Office 365 licences, most do not include the full desktop versions of the Office 365 applications . . .

You should contact the IT department of your education facility and ask them what type of Office 365 licence you are entitled to, that most likely only includes the online free versions of the apps, like on the links below . . .

many thanks for your input!

I started a test at our customer and deleted the contacts as well (marked for an later re-import through our software, of course). So I'm curious about his comment tomorrow morning, if his reminders will disappear.

But many thanks also for the remark regarding the cleanreminder-function. I wasn't aware of it so I just tried ... but unfortunately it failed. Please see the screenshot attached, also from the birthday-calender of the web-version to show, that there are no birthdays in it at all.

Do you know any other tricks to clean up the mess?

thanks a lot, but the Problem is NOT the OST or PST. I had tried with the OST-Converter, but without results!

The problem is a Setting or communication Problem from Outlook 2010 and Web.de regarding IMAP.
